As increasing productivity is one of the first priorities in most of organizations, the main purpose of all organizations is creating value for their shareholders that are demonstrated in stock return of firms in stock Exchange market. So, it is necessary to understand the effect of human resource productivity in achieving this goal and find the obstacles.The purpose of this research is examining the effect of human resource productivity on stock return in the case of Tehran stock Exchange. So, for this purpose 112 companies, during 1380-1384, were sampled and those relationships were examined. We used regression and correlation analyses and found that there is no significant correlation between these variables, and these results are true in both capital and human intensity industry. We also examined another control variable, industry type, and the findings revealed that in six industries this relationship is negative.
