Abstract:
Back ground: This study conducted to determine relationship between subjective well being and demographic variables in women with breast cancer refer to hospitals affiliated to medical sciences universities of Tehran city, 1386.
Material And Methods
In this descriptive- correlation study data were obtained through questionnaires that completed by 175 breast cancer patients selected randomly. The date were analysed by descriptive statistical tests.
Results
Findings showed the most of the patients had high subjective well being. Also, statistical analysis indicated that there is significant correlations between subjective well being and family economic situation (P=0.01), and husband employment (P=0/03).
Conclusion
Findings of this study suggest that the most of breast cancer patients had high Subjective well being. Also, Subjective well being had significant correlation with family economic situation and husband employment. Further studies with larger sample size are needed to clarify subjective well being and related factors.
