Nightly prayers of Ramadan from the viewpoint of Farighin (Sunnites and Shiites)

Prayer in which man worships his creator is the main criteria for acceptance and rejection of our other acts. Observed prayer has its own virtue in different times and places, but its excellence is doubled in Ramadan. One of the prayers Muslims observe in Ramadan is called “nightly prayers”. It is originally accepted by all Muslims, but there are some minor disagreements and disputes over matters such as the number of rak’ats and its communal observance. This article tries to study the disputes, providing the history and the scholar’s ideas about the “nightly prayers of Ramadan”.
