Gall stone is an important health problem in the world for which different risk factors have been characterized. Gall stone and cardiovascular disease have common risk factors. Homocysteine is accepted as one of the risk factors for cardiovascular disease. We aimed to study the effect of homocysteine level on gall stone formation. 54 patients with gall stone-related diseases and 54 patients without stone (control group) were studied from January 2007 to December 2008.
