Exploring the philosophy behind the aesthetic beauty of the story of the prophet joseph in the Holy Quran

Quran contains precious utterances expressed in the forms of allegories or accounts. Quranic stories and subjects steadily have attracted the attention of researchers in various art arenas from different aspects. This article has explored the philosophy behind the aesthetic beauty of the story of the prophet Joseph in the Holy Quran. In this study we try to find the dominant parameters between philosophy and aesthetic in Quran, and comparing these parameters with the features of the character of the prophet Joseph. The result of this study reveals that the story of Prophet Joseph is a theosophyoriented story which is consistent with the Divine philosophy embedded in Quranic Surahs.
