Abstract:
The Sea Surface Topography (SST) is the other important parameter in oceanography which is used widely for the unification of the height datums and current circulation analysis. In this research, we will present two separate models for SST in Persian gulf and Oman sea. The models is constructed based on the combination of the most recent local and global geoid models (IRG04 and EGM2008) and Topex/Posidon satellite altimetry data. Also, the time series analysis of the Topex/Poseidon satellite altimetry was used for the studying of the dynamic parametrs of the Persian gulf and oman sea. The least-square method was used for estimating of the Mean Sea Level (MSL) and other time varation parametrs in the study area.
