Role Of University In Social Capital- An Approach To Social Security (Case Study: Gilan Province Universities)

Security is considered as a basic requirement in social life. A legitimate and effective social system is a secure system. Social security is one aspect of security that is a main part of citizenship right. Educative organizations such as universities have a key role in teaching and training the human sources. Resent studies on the relation between social capital and human resources development prove an intense and strong link between social capital and human resources. Social capital develops opportunities and standards of life quality and on the whole the social security. The paper attempts to study the role of university in social capital as an approach to obtain social security using the ideas of social sciences theorists.
