Study of Variation and Genetic Relationships Among Some Rice Varieties Via Agronomic Traits and RAPD Markers
Identification of rice germplasm is necessary for aplication of genetic resources forrice breeding. In this purpose 30 rice genotypes evaluated based on importantagronomic traits and RAPD markers. The maximum variation coefficient belonged tounfilled grain (76.6%) and minimum to panicle iength (18.46%). results of Euclideansimilarity coefficient and UPGMA algorithm indicated 3 distanced groups. Themaximum similarity related between Sang-Joe and Domsia (69%) and the minimum tothe Sang-Tarom and Binam genotypes (10.01%). Towelve RAPD primers out of 24primers indicated suitable polymorphism and its cluster analysis also shown 4 groupsthat Amol2 with Haraz with maximum similarity (94.2%) and Zire-bandpay withminimum similarity (34.2%).
