Prevalence of Job Burnout among Counselors of Isfahan's Educational Organization

The report investigates the prevalence of job burnout among the Counselors of Isfahan’s educational organization; to do this, our sample comprised 193 individuals among from the counselors working in counseling centers of Isfahan who had been randomly selected. The research tool was 44-item Geldard burnout inventory, results revealed that nearly 37% of the subjects have an average proportion of burnout and 61% experienced low-levels of burnout; moreover, there was no significant difference between groups of males and females, single or married, different educational back grounds, having low or high work experience, whereas, a significant difference was observed between those who had received a better organizationally-supportive environment by their managers than those who hadn’t received that. General results state that burnout was prevalent among counselors of Isfahan’s educational organization.
