The Study of Services Offered by the  Information Center and the  Digital Library of the  Islamic Azad university- Tehran Research & Sciences Branch'

The main purpose of this survey study was to understand the view points of the users of the services offered by ‘The Information Center and Digital Library’ of the ‘Islamic Azad University -Tehran Research & Sciences Branch’. A sample of n= 370 users (including MA and PhD students and Faculty members) were randomly selected among a total N= 12426 users. The information gathered from the researcher made questionnaire and using an Analytic-Survey technique showed that: 1- about 84.1% of the all users were benefiting of the offered services 2- about 70.6% of the users learned to apply internet and internet search to gather information, base on their individual experiences 3- More than 53.6% of the users were applied professional websites as their main source of information and less than 1.9% used F.T.P. Overlay, about 62.5% of the participants were aware of the Rose-Net and about 51.8% of them were applied it as their source of information.
