The Study of Characteristics of the School's Professional and Bureaucratic Organizational models

Abstract:
The aim of this research was to compare the girl’s school structures in three educational levels (elementary, guidance and secondary school) according to professional and bureaucratic organizational models. A sample of n=302 schools was randomly selected (multi-stage cluster sampling method)in Tehran city. A researcher made inventory (borrowing SOI) were completed by all participants(school teachers) and the data were analyzed using T-test and One-way ANOVA for comparing three levels. Results were shown typically bureaucratic and professional characteristics in Tehran’s girl school structures. Degree of bureaucratization was also higher in guidance schools than elementary and secondary schools (P<0.05), whereas similar professional characteristics were observed in three levels.
