Evaluation of Medical Student's Opininon about Quality of Education in Medial Emergency Ward in Isfahan University of Medical Sciences

External period is the most important time in medical schooling because the medical student will be exposed to a lot of cases of illnesses. In fact, in external period, medical student must cure any patients came to clinic or hospital. Especially in emergency ward, many patients with unstable situation and seriuse thraoma reffered to this department and there are many problems in clinic for medical student to encountered this cases. Lack of educationa is a major problem. In this study, we tried to understand the problems with evaluation of medical emergency course in opinion of medical student through passing emergency ward. This cross sectional study was done in Alzahra hospital in Isfahan in 2010. In this study, all of medical student were interviewed by an special questionnaire about satisfaction of education in emergency ward. Insufficiency of medical and non medical instruments, teaching quality and etc were evaluated by this program. The data were analyzed by SPSS software. The chi square and Student-t tests were used for data analysis. The mean + SD of evaluation scale was 135.1 ± 12.5 (out of 165 maximum scale); educational quality in emergency ward was 75.8%. The minimum and maximum of this scale was 94 and 153 respectively. Students’ opinion and satisfaction is the most important factor in quality of medical schooling. The responsibile of medical teaching must notice of them and apply the students’ opinion about medical educational areas.
