Priorities in Islamicization of University Strategies in Ghom University Professor's View

The present study aims to focus on the methods of islamicization of universities based on professor''s point of view (Ghom Azad University). The method used in the present research in documentary analysis of resources and survey and corelational method. The compilations of statistics are university professor of Ghom division of Azad University who are teaching in second semester of 88-89 educational year and about80 persons are randomly selected among them. To collect the data questionnaires are distributed and they were asked to rank 15 mentioned strategies. The results of the study shows the following priorities in mentioned strategies: 1- Employing religious and pious professors in universities. 2- Reforming the cultural structure of universities and focus on islamic values and developing open discussion frameworks to revive political، social and cultural discussions. 3- Developing university professors and scholar''s self-recognition and autonomy. 4- Revising the employment criteria and promoting the social-political knowledge of members of scientific board. 5- Clarifying the criteria of islamic university among scientists and basic reconstruction in research and educational system according to religious values of community. On the other hand the present paper shows no meaning full correlation in 99% certain level (a=1%) ranking professors in theology and other university courses both in human and basic sciences. The present paper concludes that there in not a consensus opinion among intelligentsias particularly professors in human sciences and islamicization of universities should be considered as a cultural subject in universities.
