Surveying the Mental Health of Ahvaz Jundishapur Medical Sciences University Nursing Interns

Providing individual's health is one of the mental concerns of modern societies. Health is welfare and comfort, caused from the interaction of individual's psychological, social and physical aspects. Surveying individual's mental health and his proper compatibility in occupational fields is one of the general goals of this study, and this study has evaluated the general health status of nursing interns. This study is a descriptive-sectional study which with available sampling procedures, 87 nursing interns from medical sciences hospitals have been selected and completed individual specifications and CH2-28 general health. In this assessment tool, in addition to individual's general health, morbid symptom subscales of anxiety and sleep, physical problems, social function and depression have also been considered. The results of this study indicated that nursing student's general health is endangered and the group with morbid symptom of anxiety and insomnia (60.9%) and depression (52.2%) need newer health politician's support to provide and maintain the mental health of covered people.
