Study of Hazard and Incident Reporting Systems In Aeronautic Industries

Although safety principles were routinely applied in major aviation activities such as design، fabrication and operation، some sever accidents may occur. Accidents are usually take place following a series of incidents and hazards. One of the best methods for mitigation and prevention of accident is collecting and analyzing the date and information of incidents. To meet this purpose، an efficient and suitable inclusive collecting system is required. In this research، ICAO requirements in respect of reporting system، i. e. regularity، confidential and voluntary reporting systems were studied and consequently، a main criterion for an efficient and suitable reporting system was developed. Applications of the results of this work which are based on many years of experience would surely be useful for reducing accidents rate and thus improving the level of safety in aviation.
