An analytic survey of the Scientific productions in ISI, In the field of the Islamic Researches

This is a study about the scientific productions in the Islamic issues, worldwide. This study has been performed by an epistemological method, and provides standards for rating and evaluation of the produced information, in different grounds, and different countries, to the researchers.In this study, the scientific publications produced in different Islamic issues during the period of 1978-2010, provided in the "Website of Science" have been considered. Then they have been classified and analyzed according to topics, countries, languages, authors, years of publication, the kinds of documents, journals, and the related universities or scientific institutions.All data and information were fed through the "Histcite" software. Then the top 30 researches presented in the web of Science were detected and were assessed through the above mentioned software. The results show that 93 countries have been active in production of information in the Islamic issues. The USA, UK, and Canada are in the top 3 grades, and the I.R. of Iran scores 17. The study showed that 83% of the works were presented in the English language. Most of the 2224 organizations / instritutions who have produced the materials, are registered in the USA and UK.The feedback reveals that 53% of the productions have been reviw and criticize of books; and 6.37% as new articles.The most propular and interesting magazine have been:1. "International studies of Middle East"2. "World of Islam"3. "The Middle East"The study shows that most production has occurred in 2008/2009. So it brings the hope that production of the Islamic essays will increase in the next years.
