The studying of the impact of organizational ethical climate on the job satisfaction of employees of public and private banks of Gorgan city

This paper studies the impact of ethical climate types on employee's job satisfaction dimensions in Banking Industry. This investigation may provide greater insight and knowledge for incorporating ethics into Banking Industry and effectively managing employees. If significant relationships between ethical climate and job satisfaction exist, managers may be provided with direction for managing the organization to bring about greater levels of job satisfaction. The method of research is correlation-descriptive. Data were obtained from the employees of public-private Banks in Gorgan City. The results of research indicate that the ethical climate of rules has a significant and positive impact on job, pay, and supervisor satisfaction. Also, the ethical climate of caring has a significant and positive impact on job, workers satisfaction, but the ethical climate of independence has a significant and negative impact on job satisfaction. In sum, the research results indicate that the positive ethical climates of rules and caring have a significant and positive impact on employees total job satisfaction. Implication for future research and practice are discussed.
