The Educational Ill-effects of Computer Games on Children in the View of the Educators in Qom's Educational System, Zone Two

Abstract:
The present paper seeks to at investigat the educational ill-effects of computer games on children. The research method is descriptive – survey and the statistical population includes all the instructors of secondary schools related to Qom's educational system, Zone two, and all of them were selected as statistical sample. A researcher-made questionnaire including 17 items with a five –degree level at Likert scale and with reliability of %81 was used in this research. The descriptive and inferential statistics at the level of Chi –square (X2) and one way analysis of variance (f) have been used to test the hypotheses. The findings show that all hypotheses have been proved at the confidence level of 0.99 and a=0.01. Improper use of computer games has bad educational effects on moral, social, mental and physical aspects. Furthermore, the degree of educational ill-effects on physical, mental, moral, and social aspects is different.
