The Study of Effective Factors on Fmarital aladjusment Among Veterans with PTSD

The previous studies have shown that patient with PTSD suffering from marital maladjustment and marital satisfactions in their spouses are low. Therefore in this research the correlated factors on marital maladjustment in veterans with PTSD were studied. In this correlation research we selected and studied 110 cases with PTSD, data gathering tools were check list of PTSD Syndrome Scale, check list of Sexual Dysfunctions, ENRICH marital satisfaction scale and Demographic questionnaire. Gathering data analyzed by descriptive statistical such as frequency, percent, mean and regression analysis. The results showed that the 45.5 percents of veterans with PTSD have marital maladjustment. Sexual dysfunctions and Severity of PTSD syndromes has Positive and meaningful relationship with marital maladjustment and the multiple regressions of these two factors totally was 0.77. According for results, the family therapy particularly marital therapy must be among on intervention and treatment system for veterans with PTSD.
