Employing Management System Information in Decision Making by the Users

Providing management with a proper and reliable information system, which is able to manage decision making with regard to enhanced programming, organizing and controlling, has now become an essential necessity. In order to have a successful academic management, it is necessary to study management system information with regard to sources, limitations, formation, and employees motivation and spirit. This issue is being investigated in this piece of study. The main aim of this applied research is to explain the university management system information and its effects on users decision making through a descriptive-survey method. The research employed descriptive-analytic as well as Spearman correlation statistical practice to analyze the data. A sample of 99 subjects was used for conducting the research. Using information system model as well as decision making process, the researchers assessed the conceptual model of the research in the statistical population. The effectiveness of the factors and aspects of the issue of the main variable was determined by statistical analysis, and a direct and significant relation, higher than moderate level, between them was approved. Relationship between university information system and decision making by the users proved to be at moderate level. This relation was stronger between management system information (all aspects) and recognition of problems. University management system information (all aspects) proved to have lower moderate relation with problem solving. Two aspects, out of five aspects of management system information, including executive and procedural aspects, showed direct moderate relation with problem solving. Consequently, all of the hypotheses of this research were confirmed.
