A Consideration of the Ethical Principles and Other Quality Making Standards in Academic Researches

Research is the most important factor for proper cultural, social and economical development. Self-sufficiency and independence can never be though of without conducting researches and producing knowledge. If researches are designed purposefully with a look to future, they will bring about great progress for the country. Researches are conducted to find an essential and effective solutions for the changing situation. Therefore, enhancement of the research will bring about native knowledge, increase in the number of ISI articles, development in communication with international academic centers, knowledge transmission between interdisciplinary courses, and increasing values in the society. To achieve this goal, consideration of values, specially ethical values, in business and human communication seems to be very important now. Thus descriptive research has employed documentary analysis to collect data from different written sources as well as interviews. The theoretical outlook of this research is based on the Islamic view in the field of ethics. Besides, the views of western scholars have been considered for developing quality giving standards. The results indicated that factors such as the process of designing the university research programs, conducting national and international research plans, enrichment of the contents of the university journals, establishing polar courses in the university, improving research resources, developing business application of the research results, improving research methodology, and providing more facilities and training for the researchers and can bring about improvement in the university researches. Of course, ethical aspect seems to be more influential than other ones. it can be concluded that those organizations which place ethical issues on top of their environmental issues can expect more survivability.
