Design a Model for Evaluating and Predicting of Military Equipment Readiness, With a Hierarchical Approach

Evaluation of operational readiness of organizations to carry of assigned missions is one of key criteria in management general decision making, especially in military organizations. Level of readiness can be related to allocate budget, purchase of equipment and support suppliers in addition to deciding about military and political actions in war or peace time. In this process, availability of equipment is one of the basic requirements in operational readiness of organizations. The main purpose of the repair and maintenance systems and the reason of its existence is logistical support of organization. So presentating a model for evaluation of equipment readiness in the maintenance system gains higher importance.In this essay which is a result of scientific research, the definition of equipment readiness and available models in scientific literature will be reviewed. Then in the view of organizational requirements and research done, the designed model will be described in the form of a system. In this system Readiness evaluation is based on importance, weight and their priority of each supply systems in the mission statement. Also Considering expertise views in the field of age, after sale services and the quality of maintenance will present a fuzzy expert system. Finally, a model for predicting equipment readiness with the respect to environmental and practical criteria has been designed and presented by using Neural Network.
