Foregrounding is one of the artistic pivots of language which is different from the common speech and does not apply ordinary language in text. A narrative prose in order to become a literary one at least needs deviation, specially the stylistic one. Basically foregrounding appears in two types of deviation and parallelism in literary works to lead them from a prosaic prose to a poetical one. Moradi Kermani is one of the contemporary story writers who applied this kind of artistic pivot a lot. This article tries to study and analyze the concept of foregrounding and mention the related theoretical principles and also study and present this literary subject in two of his works named "Khomreh" and "nakhl".
