To find the meaning of Holy Quran's words, the researchers in the field of Quran have used different sources including the prophet and Imam's traditions as well as dictionaries. Lexicologists have also considered the traditions as an invaluable source and in some cases, to assert their views, have referred to the traditions. Although using the Quranic verses and traditions leads to the enrichment of the dictionaries, it may result in this belief that such dictionaries in their own can meet the user' needs without referring to the traditions. In this paper, presenting some instances which have been neglected in the Quranic researches might be revealing. The importance of this research on the one hand is the introduction of such traditions as a trusted source and on the other hand it insists on this fact that the dictionaries do not suffice. To prove this issue and to reveal the possible relationships between the dictionaries and the traditions, some instances are presented through a descriptive-analytic way.

Narratives of the Quran have been a point of concentration for commentators, traditionists, and scholars on Quranic sciences since the early centuries of Islam. Various researches have been carried out on this topic based on historical, geographical, and aesthetic approaches, as well as that of the rhetorical inimitability of the Quran. However, the theological aspect, particularly theological issues concerning Imamate, has not been properly investigated. This article – having been organized following desk research into the Shiite traditional, exegetical, and theological sources, as well as those of Quranic sciences and explaining the domain of theological deductions – is an attempt to indicate the extent and level of the efficiency of relying on the Divine Book in theological deductions from Quranic narratives in the field of Mahdawiyyah, and then introduce the special place of referring to Quranic narratives towards proving the theological issues concerning Mahdawiyyah as one of the efficient theological methods.
possibility of reaching Imamate in childhood, return to life of certain people at the end of days, resorting to favorites of God for help, seeking blessings from the saints of God and the things attached to them, visiting the infallible ones and intercession. Furthermore, the concealment of the birth of the twelfth Imam, achieving Imamate in childhood, occultation, long life, staying young, performing miracles, universal government of justice, and the etiquette of expecting the reappearance of Imam are considered the most important theological issues concerning Mahdawiyyah in Quranic narratives.

Humor is a common act of communication in our daily life. Today, there is a great deal of studies on the significance of happiness in mental and physical processes; hence the necessity of humor as one of its paradigm. This paper argues Islamic perception of humor and whether it is recommended or prohibited by the comprehensive outlook of Islam towards human life. Juridical books have discussed humor sporadically and mentioned its aftermath in other aspects, yet the discussion of humor as a unique subject of study has been overlooked in the field. This issue is more evident when the outward and primary meanings of several hadiths contradict with each other. On the one hand, humor is seen in the Sunnah and is recommended by Shiite Imams, on the other hand, in other ahadith, humor is prohibited and several negative results are mentioned.
This paper aims to define Islamic view of humor and draw a theoretical model of humor based on ahadith. The findings demonstrate that humor itself is recommended in Islam and what makes it prohibited is either to commit a sin by humor or to use it excessively. In other words, Islam decries sinful and excessive employment of humor. Finally, the paper argues the origin and positive aspects of humor and explores examples of sinful and excessive use of humor as well as its misapplications.

The present article has considered spirit and immortal soul in three compasses of word, Quran and narrations. It has specified their application and extensions with researching in their examples. In the light of these researches the differentiation discussion were proposed. Most of the commentators, theologians and traditions persisted on more differentiation between spirit and immortal soul based on the religious terms, but applicability of spirit and immortal soul are considered in philosophic though. So they supposed to be synonymous. In the presence of verses and traditions about spirit, commentators and theologian were only searched in the applicability and meanings of it. It has done scattered and view distraction also. One of the factors of this view distraction is taking the companions saying for granted and hardly ever making digestion and presumption in this issue.

Confirming "gender equality" as a basic Quranic teaching, hermeneutic branch of Islamic Feminism makes effort to offer new interpretations of the Holy Quran in the recent decades. Since linguistic evidences play an important role in approving "gender equality", Muslim feminists insist on this principle based upon some concepts like "pairing" (Zawjiyya) and "male / female" (Dakar/Untha) in the Quranic verses. Taking linguistic approach towards feminist interpretations, this essay attempts to recognize the semantic field related to "sex" and "gender" in the Holy Quran, and then judges the validity of the principle "gender equality" from the view point of this sacred book. This study shows that the Holy Quran distinguishes sexual affairs from gender ones, and also explains the relationship between men and women in two different stages, family and society. Despite the improving the status of women, the Holy Quran gives a complementary role instead of equal one to them.

The prophets’ Ejtehad theory, does not monopolize the sources of the Prophets’ knowledge, Speech and action only to the revelation but believes that their personal inferences at the time of the interruption of the divine messages is complementary of the divine revelation and also determine some of their positions and functions. Because of the possibility of error in the process of Ejtehad, describing the messengers only to Ejtehad requires the acceptance of committing the errors and mistakes on their behalf. Many Sunni’s commentators and scholars believes the legitimacy of Ejtehad and its occurrence on prophets’ behalf and some of them believe only its legitimacy. While the majority of Shiites, do not approve the legitimacy of the prophets’ Ejtehad and its occurrence. Only some of them believe its rational and not religious legitimacy. The evidences of the each proponent and opponents of this theory, in proving or disproving it, are rational reasons and the Quran verses. Permitting the lack of participation in the battle of Tabuk to the hypocrites, consulting with people, etc. by the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) as well as other prophets are some instances that the believers of the prophets’ Ejtehad, considering them due to the Ejtehad. At the other hand, the opponents criticized above claims by offering rational reasoning and other verses and have proved the Prophets adherence of revelation and divine guidance, especially the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) in all matters.
