All Islamic sects unanimously believe that the prophets have not afoul to shirk and they havent done any act in accordance with heresy or paganism. However, the appearance of some religious texts (Quran and Hadith) suggests that some of God's prophets from their polytheism and pagan practice are done; this is in stark contrast to rational arguments and narrative texts that are approved for infallibility and caused numerous doubts. This paper follows attribution style, on the method of gathering materials, using libraries, and how of citation of the data. In terms of their views on the sources of religious thought and based on the approach and methodology, scholars are classified as a Rationalist and Textualist. Muhammad ibn Hasan Saffar and Shaykh Saduq among theologians and early Shiite scholars in Qom had a privileged position. While both were theological Textualists and their main task was to quote and publish Hadith and related works, but it should be taken into consideration that their rational function were different and Shaykh Saduq took more benefit of ration in religious teachings than Saffar. Shaykh Saduq unlike Saffar, recognized more function of ration in the area of religious teachings and used ration in Inference, explanation, proof, rejecting the doubts and contradictory opinions. Numerous scientific trips, his confrontation with scholars of different religions, also communication with rulers and participating in debates are of the issues that provide the suitable ground for further Sheikh Saduq's tendency toward ration compared with Saffar

This paper addresses Imamayya Mutazila in Baghdad from the beginning of this school of Islamic theology in mid-third century AH to before the advent of Shaykh Mufid in the earlier fourth century. The ultimate goal of this paper is to shed light to hidden aspects of a part of the history of Shiite ideas and the indication of the evolution of Shia theology before the formation of the theological school of Baghdad centered on Shaykh Mufid. In this research the fundamental question is whether the Shia of Baghdad, has been influenced by the opinions Mutazilite. It follows with the hypothesis that the thought of Mutazilites has been effective in intellectual approach of Imamayya in Baghdad, it seems that Some Shiites in Baghdad in the second half of the third century took the teachings of the Mutazilites into account. Therefore in the presence of Qomian followers of Hadith in Baghdad, Imamayya Mutazila was in the margins and isolated before the advent of Shaykh Mufid

Mogul’s invasion to the Islamic lands, especially to the center of the Islamic Caliphate, Baghdad, had huge consequences such as Bagdad’s fall, the extinction of Abbasid, lots of murders and massive destruction in geographical territory of their invasion. Decade later after the establishment of the invaders, Ibn Taymiyyah without considering the historical evidence had accused the Shiites and Nasir al-Din al-Tusi of colluding with Hulagu Khan. His students then pursued these accusations in their religious, translated, historical and even ethical books. This article’s aim is to report these accusations and disapprove them based on the oldest documents and other documents in later periods to the present time with analyzing them. We try to consider the ideas of the notables in each period, no matter they were against the case or for it. But first, we draw the reader’s attention to the typology of their viewpoints

After the movement of Imam Husayn (AS), many varying uprisings occurred with the intention of avenging the blood of Imam Husayn (AS) and opposing the government; all under the slogans of Islam and Shiism. One of the most important movements was the movement of Ibn Tabataba that was led by Abu al-Sirayeh towards the end of the second century AH. However, an important issue that must be answered is that what was the political and intellectual nature of this movement? Can it be identified as a Shia movement that followed the Imam (AS)? In examining the nature of this movement and whether or not it can called a Shia movement, five criteria were taken into consideration so that the relationship between this movement with the Infallible Imam of that era can be clarified and as a result, an academic and precise evaluation can be made about the relationship between the movement and the Imam. Other criteria were used to identify the Islamic and religious or sociological angles of this movement. By examining all these criteria, the academic and sociological status as well as the goals, slogans, causes and gains of this movement can be clarified. Therefore, it is attempted in this paper to try and examine the political and intellectual nature of the Ibn Tabataba’s movement by analyzing and evaluating historical records based on the criteria that will be explained within

Shiite political jurisprudence (Fiqh), due to suspension of Shia from gaining political power in the Islamic history has not enjoyed the expected growth. Although the Imamiah (Twelver Shia) jurisprudence has experienced more substantial significant growth than Sunni jurisprudence, has gone through different periods and left behind valuable legacy, but Shiite political jurisprudence has not found the right opportunity to emerge. However, if we take political Fiqh as "knowledge of Sharia obligations in political behavior of the religious responsible man or women, regarding the type of Shia's interaction with other states established as an Islamic state, different periods have been described for Shiite political Fiqh. The present paper seeks to introduce different periods of Shiite political jurisprudence, how Shia's and Fuqaha (Muslim religious scholars) deal with the Islamic state, and reciprocally the states engagement with Shiism. The author argues five Shiite political periods and the characteristics and differences of each period: "the period of the Shiite sovereignty in the eras of the Great Prophet and Alavian", "the period of Taqiyyah, isolation and tolerance with the states during the long reign of Umayyad and Abbasids", "the periods of cooperation and collaboration with the Shiite Sultans", "the period of conditioning and limiting the Sultan's power and monitoring their performances" and "the period of the rule of Fiqh and Fuqaha".
