Stable exploitation of power systems requires their ability to balance between output electrical loads in power plants and electrical loads in system. Hence, load characteristics have an important effect in system stability. Increasing the distributed generation resources penetration rate leads to create new problems in exploitation of transition and distribution systems due to using of renewable energies. Mainly, traditional power systems inject electrical energy to distributed networks through line transitions. In today’s power networks, conditions changed due to the set of distributed generation such as photovoltaic systems in distributed networks. Therefore, the system response is different from previous condition in the causing tolerance of today systems. So in this article, record a method for determining the unknown parameters of the model using stable file information that create network disturbances and model response to them, and computed in numerical protection relay with the use of honeybee optimization colony. For this purpose, the unknown load parameters are applied to bee colony by voltage character and current. Finally, the network will analyze and evaluate under consideration of short circuit

Solar energy produces DC power which needs to be converted into AC power for further required applications. The conversion process is done using cascaded multilevel inverter with less THD%. In this paper the simulation and analysing of the different cascaded H-bridge multi-level inverter were done in MATLAB/SIMULINK software. The total harmonic distortion THD% in output voltage produced in 5-level, 7-level and 9-level inverters are obtained and compared. In fact, this inverter is installed and connected to a microgrid used to supply the block of Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Tishreen University. The suggested multi-level inverter (5,7,9 levels) consists of bidirectional switches with pulse-width modulation technique (PWM). This study is considered as a part of an integrated research of a solar-wind hybrid system that has been modelled and connected to the grid of the studied block. The output voltage of the proposed inverter has sinusoidal form with a total harmonic distortion THD of less than 2%.

Term of mineral potential is attributed to the properties of a specific area stating probability of mineral resources or mineralization. According to extensive areas in the country and the extent of potential mineral sources, the arrival of new attitude to identify mineral indexes seems necessary. Therefore, most related information to exploratory activities on mineral sources are reference location so GIS can be used as an optimum technology and science reference to prepare mineral potential map The objective of this research is investigating modelling and preparing mineral promising areas with their uncertainty or non-certainty in Tarom area in Zanjan province. Comparison of the obtained results from models in spite of present similarities showed that Dempester-Shafer theory has efficient ability to quantify uncertainty of information system and this feature provide amount of uncertainty besides having a map for mineral promising areas. Evaluations showed that both models are proper, but Dempester-Shafer model is better than Weight of evidence model in preparing map for mineral promising areas and acts more effectively

Renewable energy sources can be effective in improving the quality of distributed generation due to their characteristics like small size and adaptability. Uncertainties in renewable power generation have led to the inability of classical controllers to establish proper operation of the power system over a wide range of operating conditions. This research introduces a new method for improving the performance of the PI controller by analyzing the fuzzy critic evaluations and the concepts presented in the field of reinforcement learning. Since the critic agent operates based on fuzzy logic and linguistic evaluations, we will not encounter complicated mathematical calculations. As a result, in addition to the reduction of computational complexity and runtime of the controller, we add a level of intelligence and adaptability. The simulation results, demonstrate a noticeable improvement in the performance of these controllers in different operating conditions.

In this article, we present a comparative study between fuzzy space vector modulation (FSVM) and neural space vector modulation (NSVM) inverter in neuro-second order sliding mode control (NSOSMC) of stator reactive power and stator active power command of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind turbine system (WTS). The effectiveness and viability of the NSVM and FSVM strategy are established by simulation results. The stator active power, stator reactive power, electromagnetic torque and stator current are resolute and compared in the underneath techniques. The obtained results showed that, the proposed NSOSMC with FSVM inverter have electromagnetic torque, stator reactive and stator active powers with low ripples and low stator current harmonic distortion than NSVM inverter.

In this paper, the Static Economic Dispatch (SELD) problem has been optimized by applied a novel approach named improved dynamic harmony search (IDHS) algorithm. The proposed method in this work uses a novel technique for generating a new solution, where the distance bandwidth (BW) is dynamically update to improve the exploration and exploitation characteristics of the original HS. The principle behind this idea is to use a large BW to search in the entire domain and dynamically adjust the BW towards the optimal solution. The IDHS algorithm is validate for a test system consisting of 13 thermal units with VPE. It is observed that IDHS has shown promising performance to solve the SELD problem with valve-point loading effects, the simulation results are compared with conventional HS and various other optimization algorithms published recently.
