The development of information and communication technology as one of the most prominent components of the expansion of social networks has revolutionized the quantity, quality, and speed of information flow unprecedentedly. One of the important consequences of the discourse of globalization of communication is the expansion of virtual participatory politics, the politicization of ethnic, racial and religious identities, the gradual undermining of the sovereignty of states, the increased authority of transnational centers, the expansion and intensification of sociopolitical awareness. The most important characteristic of these developments, which the thinkers refer to as the "Electronic Global Village, “can be identified in concepts such as the information revolution, the compaction of time and space, the end of geography, the spread of the world of consciousness, the cybernetic age, etc. One of the increasing undeniable consequences of modern communication and information technologies is their impact on the sociopolitical structure of societies, which has drawn the attention of various schools and socialist political thinkers due to its importance and sensitivity. In Iran, the contemporary sociologists have considered the study of the political function of virtual networks. This issue led to the attention paid to the characteristics of social networks, and thus, these characteristics are addressed in theory and in the real world. For this reason, this paper will attempt to initially introduce social networks and their impact on creating political and social changes. Then, the characteristics of these networks are discussed in theory and in the real world. The method of this study is descriptive-analytical, and the data collection was made by library method using physical and virtual resources.

Globalization reflects the notion that the world has become a common social space through technological and economic forces so that development in a region of the world can have profound effects on the livelihood of individuals or societies in other regions. It is not difficult to find the relationship between this phenomenon and the civil society development. Globalization has had a profound impact on the various dimensions of human life. The expansion and influence of this phenomenon accelerated with the collapse of the Soviet Union, the expansion of the neoliberal economy and the communications and information revolution. Therefore, the present research investigates how this phenomenon affects the development of civil society, which has a tremendous role in the formation or non-formation of democracy in a country. In addition, two institutions of the civil society, namely, the press and parties that play an important role in the civil society development and political development have been addressed between 1997 and 2013.

The study of culture in international relations theories takes a wide range of complex issues, which without enough perception about these issues, certainly our understanding about the role of culture in international relations theories will be incomplete. Since in real world the study of international affairs is best understood as traditional competition between traditional mainstream theories like realism and liberalism, some special concepts like culture has been neglected, but after that when we reach to middle way and sub- theories of international relations we can see that the considering importance of culture has been growing and this concept has now become a permanent feature of these legged theories and international relations arena. This paper tries to introduce culture as an important concept in mainstream, middle way and sub-theories of international relations. After studying about the subject, the authors reached to this conclusion that, despite being ignored in traditional theories, culture has extensive role in all international relations theories and only with considering the political, security and economical issues, we won't be able to understand the realities of political events in field of international relations, So we need other concepts like 'culture' to be able to analyze the political international issues. United States power in Persian Gulf has risen since the end of Second World War. Dividing U.S. presence in the Region into the Cold war and post-Cold war era, the principle policy in first period was narrowing the impact of Soviet Union in the Region and in latter, Access to Persian Gulf region’s oil and controlling the major threats which can disrupt the flow of oil to global energy market. Following the aforementioned policy by different president’s continuity of U.S. policies in the Region is more than its changes. In this article after describing U.S. principle policy in the region, I will try to predict whether president Trump will follow the traditional policy framework or he will choose a different one. To do this I use Political Discourse Analysis method to analyze speeches and interviews of Trump about Middle East and Persian Gulf region after he took office. I conclude that Trump as well as all post-Cold War presidents of the U.S. will follow policies to make the Region stable considering strategic location of the region, export market of military equipment and goods, huge gas and oil reserves and Arab states role in oil market. Insisting on Peace Process and war against terrorism are among most important Trump strategies to stabilize the Region.

The study of abstract and objective factors in the emergence of pan-Arabism in Iran, in pre and post-revolutionary eras is the subject of this essay. The goal is to examine and study elements that provoked ethnic sentiments in southern and Arab-dominated parts of Iran. At a juncture in history, such desires and sentiments manifested themselves in terms of separatist movements. This essay is based on the hypothesis that a sequence of domestic factors such as political, social, cultural and economic factors on the one hand and foreign interference on the other hand have been the cause of instigation which led up to pan-Arabic sentiments and orientations. During the course of this study, it was concluded that domestic factors have played a major role in such inclinations. Such factors can be a breeding ground for a serious national crisis. Given the fact that preservation of national unity and territorial integrity of the country is the primary objective and safeguarding national pride and history of Iran is of paramount importance, all efforts must be invested in gaining knowledge about and diminishing such separatist inclinations.
