In the ethics, human’s freewill deeds, good characteristics and traits, and moral vices of the self are discussed, and the ways of self-purification are expressed. In the meantime, the quality of the actions of sensual forces has a direct impact on the quality of one’s ethical life. The importance of this issue is that morality is not separate from man, but is the maker of his real identity and his real I. Allameh Tabataba'i, with emphasis on the originality of the sensual forces and its role in the quality of issuing moral act, offers an anthropological approach to the field of ethics. In this approach, all ethical concepts are summarized in the concept of "moderation" and the path to moral training and liberation from vices is described as moderation in the inner forces of the self. He describes the place of the perceptions of practical reason unmatched; but since Allameh's anthropology is not separate from his theology, while linking these two foundations, using the teachings of the Quran, finally, he adopts the "monotheistic ethics" approach and introduces it as the most comprehensive ethical approach to pre-Islamic moral schools. The method of this article is analytical and using library data

Moral values" are human's current and voluntary values that are desirable; i.e., the very purpose of or is to bring human beings into voluntary actions. The human or spiritual dimension of the human being has three areas: 1. Insight or cognition, 2. Emotional or attitudinal, 3. Behavioral or kinetic. Each of these areas in the Quran have a deep and inextricable connection to one another, each forming a part of human truth and nature and moving towards deepening cognition and values. This paper attempts to describe each of the areas of the human soul in a descriptive-analytic way, explaining the instances of the ethical values of the three existential aspects of the human being in the Quran, and their relation to each other

One of the major topics in the field of anthropology, ethics, and philosophy of decision is the discussion of sensual traits, in which, the "conceptualization and detailed explanation of trait's definition" takes precedence over other issues. Examination of the works of philosophers and Islamic scholars has revealed differences in the definition of "trait". This research seeks to first discover and categorize existing definitions of trait in the works of philosophers and Islamic scholars. Then, while having a comparative review of definitions, analyzes the type of difference and their semantic relationship. The research method is descriptive-analytical. Based on the research findings, the definitions of traits can be divided into six categories based on these criteria: 1. Intrusion, 2. Speed of Deterioration, 3. Deployment in the Subject, 4. Possibility of Separation, 5. Fixity, 6. Difficulty of Deterioration. According to the comparative study, these definitions and criteria, in spite of the differences, are not generally unrelated; and there is some kind of semantic relation between them. The criteria are divided into basic and non-basic. Some of these criteria were the same as others and some have a causal relationship with others. These explanations of the semantic relationship of the criteria have led to a conceptual model in research

This article is a descriptive and analytical one, examining the role and effect of "optimism to God" on human’s bliss by examining, arranging and summarizing verses and narrations and sometimes references to interpretations; a matter which, despite its importance from the point of view of verses and narrations, has not received as much attention in some ethical works as it should. Signs and effects of trust, and signs and consequences of suspicion, are some of the issues covered in this article. In the verses and narrations, only hope in God and fear of sin alone, are included as the signs of trust, and enhancing the ability to endure problems, achieving desires in the world and in the hereafter, being saved from divine torment, being among the righteous, as well as being like the prophets of God in heaven, are among the effects. In contrast, from the perspective of verses and narrations, things like quitting marriage for fear of poverty, not having hope and being pessimistic, and vices like being stingy, fear and greed are included as the means and signs of being suspicious to God, and misery in the world and being caught in the doom of the hereafter are also the consequences

The reform movement that took place in the late 20th century about animals changed the attitude towards animals. This has challenged some of the prevailing views in Islam. In the meantime, Peter Singer, the pioneer of animal morality, has opened a milestone in this issue by publishing the book “Animal Liberation”. By criticizing Islam and the religions that allow slaughter, he called the act immoral, voting on the need to avoid it, relying on profitability and reasoning. In this paper, using a descriptive-analytical approach, Singer cannot challenge the slaughter by preserving the religious presuppositions - regardless of the value of judging about the slaughter being ethical or not. Also, his argument is flawed and unacceptable; since in the eyes of religious people slaughtering an animal has benefits for the slaughterer and the slaughtered. Thus, Singer cannot challenge the concept of slaughter in religions since believers daresay there is much more benefit than the suffering of the animal. However, in the context of utilitarianism, slaughter can still be considered a moral matter
