Volunteer Computing is a special distributed computational architecture as composed of a network of volunteer computational units connected to each other and organized to perform some specific tasks. These networks are distributed in large networks or even vast geographical areas. Rather than lower communication capabilities in these networks, resource management capabilities are limited than compared with other types of computational networks. In this research, we tried to model resource allocation, in these networks considering such limitations in these networks. We put node reliability in this the model as a factor of how much we can rely on a node to complete an assigned task on a specified time and assign one task to multiple nodes in parallel to increase probability of completing task. We model this problem as an economic model to decrease costs and increase revenue on the network based on each tasks priority.

This paper introduces a new algorithm named C2-ESPRIT to estimate the direction of narrow band signals which are not coherent. The new technique estimates direction of arrival (DOA) by dividing the received signals into two sub-array and performing sub-array processing where a new diagonal matrix is obtained. As the elements of this matrix are associated with the main angles of arrival signals, it can be used to estimate the DOA of signals. The main idea in this paper is how the signal’s sub-array are obtained and a processing method is used. Unlike the two algorithms named ESPRIT and C-SPRIT, where the result of processing the signals were a diagonal matrix and diagonal conjugated matrix, in C2-ESPRIT it may appears in the form of the square conjugate diagonal matrix. The advantages of this method compared to ESPRIT and C-SPRIT, are the reduction of the variance, high resolution and requirement of fewer samples in the receiver. MATLAB is used to compare and verify new C2-ESPRIT algorithm efficiency with three known algorithms: Root-Music, ESPRIT and C-SPRIT.

In analog circuit optimization, obtaining optimal point that can satisfy various kinds of specifications is posed as goal of design. Utilization of evolutionary algorithms was introduced as a useful method but speed of convergence and ensure to access optimal point are these method most challenges. In this paper the Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) artificial neural network is applied to access the suitable point appropriate different specifications values of analog circuit. This point used in optimization algorithm to find reliable response. Neural network itself is trained by training database is collected during initial optimization process. The link of HSPICE and MATLAB is used for circuit simulation and evaluation during the process.

Plasma antennas are radio frequency antennas that use ionized gas instead of metal conducting element of conventional antenna to transmit and receive signals. In this paper, the effect of changing material of the inside coupler on bandwidth, return loss and radiation pattern at Ultra High Frequency (UHF) band is investigated. It is demonstrated that the resonant frequency can be adjusted by choosing proper material for internal coupler without changing the antenna size and structure. The antenna and its coupler is simulated by practical software Computer Simulation Technology (CST) Microwave Studio.

Considering the outstanding use of renewable energy sources, most of industrial countries secure a main part of their required energy from renewable energy resources. Solar panels and wind turbines are the most important sources for the scattered production based on Renewable energies. In this study the optimized design of a solar panel, wind turbine hybrid system with superconductive magnetic energy storage (SMES), separated from network, to provide for the load demand of a military site is considered. The aim of a system optimization is specifying the number of solar panels, wind turbines, and SMESs with minimizing the cost of system's energy production. In hybrid systems, due to fluctuations in energy production of solar panels and wind turbines, accumulation systems are used in order to provide for a perpetual load. This system is also used to minimize annual costs of energy production for a system of load demand of a military site with the use of TLBO algorithm on a basis of teach-learn is being studied.

One of the main concerns of power system restructuring in developing countries is to divest the asset to private sector. This divestment for electricity distribution companies is more critical and has a vital role in the electricity supply chain because of vicinity to customer. This paper applies the valuation approach for electricity distribution companies. For valuation of the companies, Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) model is used and Terminal Value (TV) model is applied to forecast future costs and incomes of companies in a stable manner. Systematic risks of these companies are taken into account by using Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM). Five Iranian electricity distribution companies are selected and considered technically and economically to obtain their valuations. As a result, these companies are ranked based on their valuations and technical factors.
