    We will introduce and study several algebraic properties of  the covariance cosets inC algebras. Indeed, we will characterize the covariance coset in terms of commutators. Also, we will show that for an invertible element b, the covariance coset of b−1 coincides with the covariance coset of b . Moreover, if b is normal, then the covariance coset ofb coincides with the covariance coset of b In addition, we will prove that the covariance coset is a cone.

    In this paper, the Block pulse functions (BPFs) and their operational matrices of integration and differentiation are used to solve Li´enard equation in a large interval. This method converts the equation to a system of nonlinear algebraic equations whose solution is the coefficients of Block pulse expansion of the solution of the Li´enard equation. Moreover, this method is examined by comparing the results with the results obtained by the Adomian decomposition method (ADM) and the Variational iteration method (VIM)

    The purpose of this study is to implement homotopy perturbation method, for solving nonlinear Volterra integral equations. In this work, a reliable approach for convergence of the HPM when applied to a class of nonlinear Volterra integral equations is discussed. Convergence analysis is reliable enough to estimate the maximum absolute truncated error of the series solution. The results obtained by using HPM, are compared to those obtained by using Adomian decomposition method alone. The numerical results, demonstrate that HPM technique, gives the approximate solution with faster convergence rate and higher accuracy than using the standard ADM.

    In this note we propose an extended skew-Laplace distribution.We obtain explicit expressions for moment generating functionand the two first moments of this distribution. Next, we show that thedistribution of a linear combination of order statistics from a bivariate Laplace distribution can be expressed as a mixture of extended skew-Laplace distributions. This mixture representation enables us to derivemoment generating function and moments of this linear combination.

    By using the fixed point methods, we prove some generalizedHyers-Ulam stability of homomorphisms for Cauchy and Cauchy-Jensen functional equations on the product algebras and on the triple systems.
