    The author provides for 16 research tips and new findings under four themes. On the tips and old manuscripts of old texts, a version from the book `Dastoor ul-Monajjemin` (astronomers` law), the book `al-Nakth` (the breach) by Nazzam the Mo`tazilite, A few notes from Rijal of Najashi, works of the Zaidi Muslims, Ismaili sayyids based on Ibn Shadqam report, the fate of manuscripts of Safavid era, significance of intermediary scripts in transcription, a comparative study of Shaikh Tusi`s al-Fehrest and Ibn Nadim`s al_Fehrest can be read. On Bahrain, Oval and Qatif inscriptions, an exquisite version of al-Fehrest transcripted by Saleh bn Yusuf Ovali al-Bahrani, reports on emerging studies on Bahrain using old sources, Muhammad bn Ali Ainqani (Ibn Fahad al-Hilli`s deciple), Mansour al-Ahsaiee and rewriting a version of the book `al-Nasikh wal Mansoukh` (the abrogating and the abrogated) by Ibn Ataeqi al-Hilli. On biography, introducing two Shia scholars, Sayyid Haidar ibn Muhammad Wa`ez Hassani (seventh century) and Ali ibn Abi-Mayamin (eighth century), are addressed as well. On Muslim denominations studies, a short report is delivered.

    This article reviews the book `Miftahu Asrar il-Hosseini` (The Key to the Husseini Mysteries) written by Abd ul-Raheem Damavandi (12th century A.H.) in 1160 A.H. (1747 A.D.) explaining some related-to-Imam-al- Husayn (Peace be upon him)`s issues in Persian and through kind of mystical language. In addition to narrating a number of Damavandi`s intuitions and visions, Sadraee-Khoee reports his masters, disciples, academic biography, and his status before the academicians as well as some of his books. The author then imparts some sections of the book including tawheed, criticizing Sufis, and interpreting some Shia beliefs through a mystical approach. He also introduces manuscripts and printed copies of the book.

    Biography of Ali Khaqani, the Iraqi Shia scholar (1330 - 1399 A.H.), and his works which mostly include Iraqi poets` biographies and reviewing their poetry diwans have occupied a half of the article. Khaqani`s bibliographical and codicological works (some of which aren`t published yet) are also introduced here in this article. Then his manuscripts and transcripts which reach 85 are listed in alphabetical order based on his own report in `Shuara ul-Ghariy` (Al-Ghariy poets).

    Based on the number of hadiths and their authority, 49 manuscripts of Sulaim ibn Qais`s book (one of 1st century hadith texys) have been classified into eight groups and reviewed codicologically by the author. Features of scripts are either based on the catalogues of related libraries, viewing version photos, or viewing original versions. The manuscripts are mentioned in the definite or estimated writing-time order that covers 918 to 1385 A.H. (1512 – 1965 A.D.).

    A collection of research tips and new findings about bibliography, documents and biographies is presented in this article. Among the tips on bibliography are: eight books written by Mohammad-Hassan Khwini Zanjani with codicological review; introducing the unique manuscript of Hada`iq ul- Arefeen (mystics` gardens) by Mohammad bn Mohammad `Ahuee Tafreshi (written in 1294 A.H.) on beliefs; a catalogue including 25 books written by Ahmad Qaidari Moqaddas Zanjani (1297 – 1359 S.H.); an introduction to the book Zanbil ul-Wa`ezeen (Peachers` Basket) by Ali ibn Abi-Taleb Yazdi in 1379 A.H.; two books from Mohammad-Ali Salari Yazdi (1286 – 1341 S.H.); translation of Amir ul-Mo`menin`s diwan (poetry) in prose and its comparison to Maibodi`s descriptive interpretation of this diwan. Among documents, Manzumah Khavari Shirazi (13th century) in Farsi on Wahhabis` invasion to Karbala in 1216 A.H. and among biographies, Seyyed Ibrahim Bani-Hashemian`s bio are reported in this article.

    This article tries to introduce Ibn Hesam`s book `Riyadh ul-Fetyan` (Meadows of youth) which is a selected explanation of Abu Nasr Farahi`s textbook `Nisab us-Sebyan` (the Quorum of the children) based on the manuscript in Ayatollah Mar`ashi`s Library. The colophon, its authenticity, spelling features in this manuscript as well as some selections from the book`s editor are included in this article.
