Three countries, turkey, Syria and Iraq that have the common spillway and basin of Tigris and Euphrates due to increasing dependence to these rivers they have had to establish a dam and control the water streams in their territories. In this regard turkey government which is located upper than its south neighbors based on eastern south Anatolia project or GAP for developing agriculture and industry in its eastern south territory need a huge amount of water of Tigris and Euphrates. Furthermore because of dam building in its territory has decreased the share of water for Iraq and Syria. The reduction of water of Tigris and Euphrates has had negative impacts on environmental security and inappropriate political, economic and social effects on Iraq and Syria. This problem and political goals of turkey in recent decades have made the conflicts and challenges among these three countries. This research based on descriptive and analytic method and resources try to answer this question that what is the effect of hydropolitic gab project on environmental security of Iraq and Syria and what are the turkey goals of this plan? Implementing the phases of gap project in recent decades has had negative environmental impacts such as water pollution, eliminating the rare species, increasing the desertification, destroying the swamps and basins and producing hazes in Iraq and Syria and it seems that turkey government is establishing the hydrohegemony in the region.

The Karabakh crisis, which flared again with the Azerbaijani army's attacks on Armenian forces in the region on 20th of November in 2020, is rooted in the crises and differences between the Armenian and Azerbaijani people since the formation of the Soviet Union. The second Karabakh war ended 44 days after the victory of the Azerbaijani army and the signing of a tripartite ceasefire agreement by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on the 20th of November. These wars and conflicts, which after a period of intense conflict eventually led to a temporary ceasefire between the two countries, with the intervention of Russia, took place while ambiguities and important questions remained unanswered about the past, present and future of the Caucasus geopolitical region and the implications of current developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis for neighboring countries. In recent decades, the Islamic Republic of Iran has not been able to take advantage of the geopolitical opportunities in Central Asia and the Caucasus as it should. Now, the issue that rapid and serious developments have taken place in the Caucasus, especially in the relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, has paved the way for new dual conditions for Iranian politicians and has created opportunities and reciprocal threats that, if not dealt with intelligently, will not only have no benefits for Iran, but it will inflict heavy losses on our country. The issues addressed in this article as the geopolitical implications of the 2020 Karabakh war are considerations and concerns which might may create problems for Iran in the future. It goes without saying that the active presence and strong diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this region, especially in the current sensitive situation, can turn many of the existing threats into opportunities and eliminate the existing concerns. It should be noted that the Karabakh crisis and its developments so far show a deeper and broader policy for the entire Greater Caucasus and even Southwest Asia, a deep policy whose geopolitical implications can be very influential for some regional actors such as Iran.

The rivalry between China and the United States in the new century is one of the most important drivers of geopolitical rivalries at various regional and trans regional levels. China is considered one of the great powers that has the potential to become a superpower and challenge the current position of the United States, something that has worried US strategists and officials. As a result, in the second decade of the 21st century, the United States shifted the focus of its national security strategy from the Middle East to East Asia in order to counter this potential threat. With the withdrawal or diminishing presence of the US presence in the region, traditional US allies such as Israel and Arab countries are afraid of expanding the sphere of influence of their geopolitical rivals, namely Iran and Turkey, and given the historical experiences of the region and Iran's geopolitical influence in the current situation, these countries have been forced to cooperate bilaterally and multilaterally. Israel has traditionally chosen the Peripheral Alliance strategy as a complement to its national security strategy. Given the possibility of a reduction in military forces in the Middle East, the Arab-Israeli agreement in the form of the Abraham Accords Peace Agreement seems to represent a new Rimland with the aim of controlling and limiting the geopolitical influence of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Using the descriptive-analytical method and based on library and Internet resources, tries to provide a geopolitical explanation of the Abrahamic Accords in terms of its effects and consequences on regional relations in the Persian Gulf and especially the goals and interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The results show that if the project is implemented, we can expect the emergence of a new regional Rimland with the aim of controlling and weakening Iran.

Investigating and studying the political relations of countries in the international arena, especially the countries of a particular region, is of particular importance. Such studies investigate issues related to the interactions between states and factors affecting political relations between them from different perspectives. Geopolitical studies are among such studies which provide national interests and national security for countries to identify political and geographical factors and variables affecting the political relations of states and accordingly, to investigate the regional and global impacts of these relations. By looking at the political relations between Iran and Syria, as two important non-bordering Middle East countries with special geopolitical and geostrategic importance in the axis of Islamic Resistance, which plays an essential and decisive role in regional interactions and geopolitics which is significantly impacted by these relations, we can observe fluctuations due to the influence of geopolitical, political and economic factors in the interactions between them. The current study tries to examine the impact of major geopolitical factors between the two countries and finally answer the following question: What predictable prospect exists for Iran-Syria relations in the future"? In this regard, using a descriptive-analytical research method, we will test the hypothesis that "the future of Iran-Syria relations depends on the future of Syria and its future positioning." This research investigates other aspects of the future effect of the two countries' relations on the region and, like any other research studies, there were limitations and obstacles.

The concept of power and its wielding resources and tools have always evolved and changed throughout history. Any scientific or technological advancement, whether in the first military equipment or mass destruction weapons, or in the economic or political power resources, has in some way caused a change in the behavior of the actors and in many cases displaced the centers of power and their owners. Southwest Asia has been in a state of tension and instability since the end of World War I due to the unbalanced distribution of power resources and the competitive behavior of actors. In this paper, by examining new changes in the concept and power resources, their results on the distribution of power and balance of power in Southwest Asia are examined and analyzed. The study shows that, especially in the 21st century, with the collapse of the traditional balance of power in the region and the loss of power in Iraq, Syria and even Libya, and the entry of new and inexperienced actors such as Qatar and the UAE into the regional has intensified chaos and laid the foundation for widespread instability
