ncreasing investment in research and development is a factor in increasing productivity in regional production and the growth of innovative areas. Knowledge and innovation overflow is an inevitable concept that is resilient to place. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of expanding research and development costs on regional growth in different neighborhood ranks. For this purpose, has been used a combined model and investigation of research and development spatial overflow in 31 provinces of Iran. The research results show that; Natural logarithm variables of GDP, percentage of research and development costs to regional GDP, average years of education and population structure directly affect regional growth. However, the spatial lag of the natural logarithm of the GDP rate and the spatial lag of the variable population structure have an inverse effect on regional growth.

Since DSGE models do not have a closed-form solution, the model should be approximated around the steady state. The question that arises is whether this approximation should be around a deterministic steady state or a stochastic one? This study, usinng a modified new Keynesian model for Iran, considers oil price and production uncertainties. The results indicate that stochastic steady state and higher Taylor approximation can better explain the Iran's economy. Also, the results show that the level of consumption, private investment and GDP in the stochastic steady state is less than the deterministic steady state, while the government consumption and investment in the stochastic state are higher than the deterministic steady state. The impulse response function also show that the response of economic variables to different shocks in the stochastic steady state is less than that of deterministic steady state. Herding behavior or behaving like aggregation is one of the behavioral biases among investors, that can cause irregularities such as price bubbles and falls, increase in price fluctuations in the market and, in general, lack of balance in the capital market. Therefore, by identifying and studying this phenomenon, in addition to explaining one of the behavioral dimensions of the Iran capital market, it is possible to provide conditions for the implementation of optimal decisions for investors and market agents. In this study, the existence of herding behavior among investors of Tehran Stock Exchange using the volume of trading by Hachicha method, which is an initiative and innovation of the Huang and Salmon model, for the period 1394 to 1398 regarding 142 companies from companies Accepted in the Iran stock market, has been implemented. The results show that herding has existed continuously in the Iran stock market during the review period.

Sustainable development is aimed at promoting the level and quality of life of individuals and improving the welfare of society and the continuation of this process throughout the human generations. Rising per capita global energy consumption and the devastating environmental consequences of this trend, despite technological advances and the widespread warnings (resource depletion, rising pollution, and global warming), have raised global concerns about sustainable development. However, many are still reluctant to reduce energy consumption, because there is a widespread belief, although implicit, that a nation's level of well-being and happiness depends on its energy consumption. The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the effect of per capita energy consumption on the happiness of societies. The results of estimating the effect of energy consumption thresholds on happiness in selected developing countries during the period 2017-2017 have shown that energy consumption has a nonlinear and threshold effect on happiness. In other words, as long as the level of energy consumption per capita is less than the threshold level increasing per capita energy consumption has led to an increase in the level of happiness in society. But after crossing the threshold level and being in a high energy consumption regime, increasing per capita energy consumption has reduced the level of happiness. Environmental pollution and global warming as a result of the uncontrolled increase in energy consumption and its adverse consequences on quality of life are among the reasons for the paradox of the relationship between energy consumption and happiness. The main purpose of this article is to investigate the relationship between economic complexity and human development index in developed and developing countries. Accordingly, to measure the amount of knowledge used in a country's products, there are various indicators, including the index of economic complexity and human development. For this purpose, data on economic complexity and the Human Development Index, as well as influential indicators of institutional variables such as economic freedom, political stability and the rule of law, for 28 countries during the period 1997-2017, using The self-explanatory method is used with wide panel interrupts (Panel ARDL). The results of the test show that in developed countries there is a one-way causal relationship from the human development index to economic complexity. Therefore, according to the results, the impact of the index of human development and political stability in the long run on economic complexity is positive and significant, also the index of economic freedom in the long run has a negative and significant effect on economic complexity. These countries do not have a significant impact on economic complexity. In contrast, the findings show that in the developing country there is a one-way causal relationship from the index of economic complexity to the index of human development. Thus, economic complexity and political stability in the long run have a negative and significant effect on the human development index and the effect of the rule of law and economic freedom index on the human development index is positive and significant. The Privatization Agency annually evaluates the companies transferred to the non-governmental sectors. In this context, the present study evaluates selected transferred companies from the beginning of the eleventh Iranian government to 2015, in the three years before and all years after the transfer. These companies were ranked in three ways based on the difference in scores of criteria and indicators of the performance evaluation model. In this ranking, Abadan Power Generation Company was ranked first among all companies (with domestic and foreign sales) and companies without exports. Iran Airtour Company also won first place among exporting companies. Also, 65% of companies based on productivity criteria, 59% based on efficiency criteria, and 47% based on investment and development activity criteria have increased points compared to before the transfer. Finally, the number and percentage of companies with increase and decrease or no change than before the transfer have been calculated and analyzed separately by indicators. The theory of comparative advantage based on the opportunity cost imply that international trade can shift the factors of production and Stalper-Samuelson's theory states that trade can be affected by factor prices. From one side, democracy can emphasize the importance of privatization and private sector and on the other hand, according to the middle voter theory, attention to the workforce importance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of democracy and trade on the proportion of production factors in Iran during 1357-1397. The research method is using econometric models, GLS and GMM. The research results show that the effect of the degree of openness and FDI on the wage-to-interest ratio variable is positive and significant. The effect of democracy on the wage-to-interest rate variable is positive and significant too. Also the interactive effect of two indicators of democracy and degree of openness (or FDI) on the wage to interest rate is positive and significant. These results are consistent with Stalper-Samuelson's theory and empirical studies. JEL Classification: F16, J24, P16

This research provides a copula-based stochastic programming that is able to determine the optimal amounts of primary energy resources and different technologies to supply the required electrical energy. In this model, the uncertainty caused by random variables is presented in different scenarios, and uncertain interactions between random variables are shown using the copula functions with the different probability distributions and previously unknown correlations. Then, based on the developed approach of Copula-based stochastic programming, urban energy system planning for Tehran and Isfahan is formulated. The results obtained from the solution of the model indicate that the current trend is not consistent with the use of technologies with the optimization results, and it shows that in each case, solar technology compared with combined cycle technology, gas Turbine and steam in providing a part of the demand for electricity in terms of Economic and environmental benefits, and should be prioritized in investment policies. In order to compensate for the supply shortage, the remaining electrical energy should also be supplied by the grid, which will reduce the amount of pollution, compared with the situation at the same cost. In addition, the results show that the uncertainty in the components of the system has significant effects on the output of decision variables and system cost. JEL Classification: C02, L11, Q40, R00

Using the daily data of the price index of 15 industries during 2016/10/30 to 2021/3/27, the volatility of Iranian stock market has been modeled in this paper. Factor multivariate stochastic volatility model in the framework of space-state approach is the basis for decomposing the stock market volatility into two components, “volatility rooted in latent factors” and “idiosyncratic volatility” and estimating time-varying covariance matrix and dynamic pair-wise correlation of time series. The findings reveal that: first, there are two latent factors; the first affects the volatility of domestic industries (real estate, agriculture, food products, sugar, cement, etc.) and volatilities of commodity-based industries (chemical and petrochemical industries, petroleum products, basic metals and metal products) are affected by the latter. Second idiosyncratic volatilities of each industry increase during this period, and evidence of clustering behavior emerges. Third, the volatility of banking industry’s stock return is influenced by both of latent factors and its idiosyncratic volatility lies in the middle of industries. This finding is logical and predictable because banks lend to a wide range of different industries, so idiosyncratic volatility of this sector and factors loading will be the weighted average of other industries. Fourth, the highest degree of pairwise correlation is observed between the 4 commodity-based industries, which have had an upward trend during this period. JEL Classification: C11, C32, C58, G17

The effect of trade on the international movements of human resources can be examined from different aspects. The openness of the economy has different effects on other economic indicat ors and economic conditions in general, and through it the welfare of society, which affects people's decisions about migration. This study using a Poisson Pseudo Maximum Likelihood model and the gravity Approach, examines the phenomenon of migration flows from 35 countries of origin to 20 OECD countries. According to the results, increasing trade in destination countries increases the flow of migration to those countries (pull factor) and increasing this index in the countries of origin reduces the flow of emigration (push factor). Also, increasing the GDP of the destination countries, increasing the population of the countries of origin, increasing the trade volume of the destination countries and increasing the unemployment rate of the countries of origin; The factors that attract migration flows from countries of origin to selected OECD countries are known, and reducing these variables can be considered as a push factor in migration phenomenon.
