The Gospel of Thomas is one of the discoveries of Nagaa Hammadi and is based on Gnostic-Christian beliefs. Researchers have done a lot of historical and religious studies about these discoveries, especially the Gnostic beliefs that dominate most of these texts. They have sought to discover which one is closer to God, Gnosis or Christianity? In this paper, one of the texts of Nagaa Hammadi (the Gospel of Thomas) and its beliefs (Gnostic-Christian) have been comparatively studied based on the Holy Qur'an. It can be argued that according to this comparative study, more than half of the sayings attributed to Jesus in this Gospel are fabricated and contrary to Islamic teachings, and the claim that the 114 existing sayings are attributed to Jesus is rejected. Some of the sayings seem to be consistent with Islamic teachings; however, it should be noted that, based on the conducted study, they are also in conflict with the Islamic method and attitude.

Since the theory of evolution was proposed, and as it presented a particular worldview that was inconsistent with the current views, different reactions to this view have been triggered among the followers of different religions. Using a descriptive-analytical method, this paper seeks to consider the similarities and differences between the Catholic Church and Shiite scholars in dealing with this view. The results indicate that there is a withdrawal of the Catholic Church from its original view on this theory. Besides, the church has paid attention to the various dimensions and depth of influence of this view.

Almost in all religions, holy issues have been described as a form of light. In all religions, light and its related elements have had a special place in mythology and rituals, and have eventually led to religious art. In Christianity, God is absolute illumination. In the Bible, the Messiah introduces himself as light, and there is a symbolic description that states: “I am the light of the world”, whoever follows me will not remain in darkness; because the life-giving light illuminates the path." At the beginning of the Christian era, illumination either played the role of a mediator between God and the world or was itself a symbol of God's existence. Considering this important tradition of light, it is not surprising that one of the most influential sources in Christian art, especially in the symbolism of light, is the New Testament. A careful investigation of the symbols of light in Christianity including aureole, icons and the use of the element of illumination in Christian architecture can clearly show the influence of other ancient religions and cultures, especially Judaism and Greco-Roman culture in whose context Christianity flourished.

Buddhism and Zoroastrianism are two important religious traditions each of which have proposed theories about man's condition in the world and have shown some paths to achieve salvation. Based on Buddhism, the source of human suffering is desire and ignorance which leads to reincarnation, and the main goal is salvation from the cycle of reincarnation and attainment of power. Achieving this goal is somewhat different in the two main Buddhist sects, Theravada and Mahayana. Theravada takes the path of Arhat, and Mahayana the path of Buddhism. In Zoroastrianism, the principles of the theory of salvation include getting rid of the consequences of wrong deeds, words and thoughts and reaching the paradise of Ahura Mazda, which is achieved through having faith in Ahura Mazda, having good thoughts, words, deeds and repenting with the help of Amshaspandan (angels) and saviors. This study compares the doctrine of "salvation" from the perspective of the two transcendent and Mahayana Buddhist sects with the doctrine of "salvation" in the Avesta, the sacred text of Zoroastrianism.

All divine religions have had a Sharia including the laws people need for achieving happiness. Therefore, Sharia is important in any religion and its study is also of special importance. One of these divine religions, which is based on monotheism is Zoroastrianism. This study discusses Zoroastrianism’s Shari'a, the course of its developments and its current status. Historical evidence shows that the law of Zarathustra has had many ups and downs throughout its history. Today, research shows that there is no trace of Shari'a in the exact sense of the word in the texts of this religion. The Shari'a, which always exists in the text of any divine religions, has been diminished in this religion, and the Zoroastrians have abandoned the Shari'a and their Shari'a books, and this is an important shortcoming.

This interdisciplinary (historical-religious) paper seeks to introduce the educational centers for the Tarsayan (Christians) of Iran during the Sassanid era. Based on historical findings, it tries to analyze issues such as types, geographical distribution, names of teachers and students, educational materials and scientific achievements, economics and education. For scrutinizing the issue, this basic-historical research which is done through the descriptive-analytical method has collected and organized historical information. The research findings are as follows: 1- historical reports on Tarsayan educational centers are much more than reports on Zoroastrian educational institutions; 2- Tarsayan training centers have been of three types; 3- the geographical dispersion of these centers has been unbalanced; 4- the names of a number of these centers and their teachers and students have not been mentioned in history; 5- the main focus of their curriculum was the Bible; but Greek sciences such as philosophy, logic, mathematics, medicine, etc. were also taught; 6- the economy of these centers has been focused on public aid and endowments and assistance of bishops 7- all these centers were established and presided by the bishops; 8- a number of these centers were built in temples 9- in economics, management, ethics, and etiquette, these centers have been governed and supported by the church.
