    علامه ابوالفتح کراجکی (م 449 ق) از نام‎آوران علوم عقلی و نقلی در قرن پنجم هجری، و دارای تالیفات فراوانی در این دو شاخه معرفتی است و از این دانش‎ها، در علم کلام فراوان استفاده کرده است. ایشان شاگرد بزرگانی چون شیخ مفید و سید مرتضی و شیخ طوسی است و به نقش و کارکرد عقل در مباحث کلامی اهتمام ویژه ای دارد. هرچند استدلال‎های کلامی وی شامل عقلی محض، نقلی محض و تلفیقی است؛ لکن سهم براهین عقلی بیشتر بوده و در مباحث عقلی - نقلی به براهین عقلی توجه ویژه‎ای دارد. ایشان از تفکر عقلی برای تاویل و توجیه آیات و روایات اعتقادی بهره فراوان برده است؛ با این حال، در مسایل کلامی- به ویژه مسایلی که صبغه نقلی آن‎ها غالب است- از ادله نقلی نیز بهره شایان برده است.

    نجم الدین خضر رازی حبلرودی از متکلمان امامیه در قرن نهم هجری است. روش کلامی وی، ترکیبی از عقل فلسفی و نقل وحیانی است؛ هر چند در آثار کلامی او بهره گیری از ادله عقلی بر ادله نقلی غلبه دارد. وی بسیاری از صفات ثبوتیه و سلبیه خداوند را از واجب الوجود بودن خداوند استنتاج کرده است. اگر چه او در مباحث کلامی رویکرد فلسفی دارد، اما در مواردی دیدگاه فلاسفه را نقد کرده که قاعده «الواحد» و «اتحاد نفس ناطقه با عقل فعال» از آن جمله است. ایشان در پژوهش های کلامی خود از علوم عقلی و نقلی (منطق، فلسفه، اصول فقه، ادبیات و تاریخ) استفاده کرده است.

    منصور بن صدر الدین محمد دشتکی، ملقب به غیاث الدین، از مشاهیر و نام‎آوران علوم عقلی و نقلی در سده نهم و دهم هجری است. مباحث کلامی او مبتنی بر فلسفه مشاء بوده و با توجه به تسلط ایشان بر علوم عقلی و نقلی، از این دانش‎ها در علم کلام استفاده کرده است. استدلال‎های کلامی وی در مسایلی که بهره‎گیری از نقل مستلزم دور است عقلی، و در مسایلی که عقل توانایی درک آنها را ندارد، نقلی و در دیگر مسایل، عقلی - نقلی است. ایشان از روش عقلی برای تاویل و تبیین آیات و روایات اعتقادی، بهره فراوان برده و به آراء فلاسفه، متکلمان و عرفا توجه کرده و نقد منصفانه و عالمانه کرده است.

    محمد بن احمد خواجگی شیرازی از عالمان برجسته ی علوم عقلی و نقلی در سده دهم و یازدهم هجری است. ایشان، تالیفات متعددی در علم کلام به رشته تحریر درآورده است. وی در علوم مختلف مهارت داشته و در بحث های کلامی از آنها بهره گرفته است. استدلال‎های کلامی وی در مباحثی که بهره‎گیری از نقل مستلزم دور است، عقلی محض، و در مباحثی که چنین نیست، عقلی- نقلی است. در تاویل و تبیین آیات و روایات اعتقادی از تفکر عقلی بهره برده است. ایشان در مباحث خود به آرای فلاسفه، متکلمان و عرفا توجه کرده و منصفانه نقد کرده است.

    قاضی نور الله شوشتری از متکلمان برجسته قرن دهم است که متناسب با نیازهای عصر خویش به مباحث کلامی ورود پیدا کرده است. وی در علم کلام آثار مختلفی به رشته تحریر در آورده است که از میان آنها کتابهای «احقاق الحق و ازهاق الباطل»، «مصایب النواصب فی الرد علی نواقض الروافض»، «مجالس المومنین» و «صوارم المهرقه فی نقد الصواعق المحرقه» دارای جایگاه ویژه ای هستند. ایشان از متکلمان عقل گرای غیر فلسفی به شمار می رود که به اقتضای نوع مساله کلامی، از علوم مختلف عقلی و نقلی بهره برده است. بیان دیدگاه ها و نظرات اندیشمندان و فرق و مذاهب مختلف، از دیگر ویژگی های روش کلامی وی به شمار می رود.

    میرزا محمد حسن شیروانی معروف به ملا میرزا، از عالمان برجسته و نامدار قرن یازدهم است که در علوم گوناگون صاحب نظر و اثر است. علم کلام از جمله علومی است که وی در آن تخصص داشته و متناسب با نیازهای عصر خود به تالیف و تحقیق در پیرامون مسایل آن پرداخته است. محقق شیروانی در زمره متکلمان عقل گرا محسوب می شود. ایشان به تناسب مسایل، به علوم دیگری چون منطق، فلسفه، معرفت شناسی، قرآن و حدیث و تاریخ و تفسیر، اصول فقه، توجه داشته و در  مباحث کلامی خود، مورد استفاده قرار داده است. از دیگر ویژگی های بارز در روش کلامی محقق شیروانی، نقل نظرات و دیدگاه های فرق کلامی دیگر، به خصوص اشاعره و معتزله و همچنین نقل دیدگاه صاحب نظران از مفسران و مورخان است.

    Allameh Abolfath Karajki (449 AH) is one of the most famous intellectual and narrative sciences in the fifth century AH, and has many works in these two branches of knowledge and has used this knowledge in theology. He is a student of great figures such as Sheikh Mofid, Seyyed Morteza and Sheikh Tusi, and pays special attention to the role and function of reason in theological discussions. His theological arguments, however, are purely rational, purely narrative, and synthetic; However, the share of rational arguments is higher and in rational-narrative issues, special attention is paid to rational arguments. He has used rational thinking to interpret and justify verses and hadiths; However, in theological issues - especially those in which the narrative is predominant - he has also benefited from narrative arguments.

    Najmuddin Khidr Razi Hablaroudi is one of the Imami theologians in the ninth century AH. His theological method is a combination of philosophical reason and revelation; However, in his theological works, the use of rational arguments prevails over narrative arguments. He has deduced many attributes of God from the necessity of God's existence. Although he has a philosophical approach to theological issues, he has criticized the views of philosophers in some cases, including the rule of "unity" and the "union of the rational soul with the active intellect." In his theological researches, he has used intellectual and narrative sciences (logic, philosophy, principles of jurisprudence, literature and history).

His theological discussions are based on Peripatetic philosophy and due to his mastery of intellectual and narrative sciences, he has used these sciences in theology. His theological arguments are rational in matters where the use of narration requires distance, and narrative in matters which the intellect is incapable of comprehending, and rational-narrative in other matters. He has used the rational method to interpret and explain verses and hadiths and has paid attention to the opinions of philosophers, theologians and mystics and has criticized fairly and wisely

He has used rational thinking in interpreting and explaining verses and hadiths. In his discussions, he has paid attention to the opinions of philosophers, theologians and mystics and has criticized them fairly.

He is one of the non-philosophical rationalist theologians who has used various intellectual and narrative sciences according to the type of theological problem. Expressing the views and opinions of thinkers and different sects and religions is another feature of his theological method.

    Mirza Mohammad Hassan Shirvani, known as Mullah Mirza, is one of the prominent and famous scholars of the 11th century who is an expert in various sciences. Theology is one of the sciences in which he has specialized and has written and researched its issues in accordance with the needs of his time. Shirvani is one of the rationalist theologians. He has paid attention to other sciences such as logic, philosophy, epistemology, Quran and Hadith, history and interpretation, principles of jurisprudence, and has used them in his theological discussions. Other prominent features in the theological method of Mohaghegh Shirvani are quoting the opinions and views of other theological differences, especially the Ash'arites and Mu'tazilites, as well as quoting the views of scholars, commentators and historians.
