The relationship between mind and body has always been one of the most controversial issues in the history of philosophy. In Western philosophy, Descartes made a complete distinction between soul and body but could not explain the relationship between them because there were flaws in his theory at that time. Because of these problems, the school of parallelism emerged, and finally in the twentieth century, the philosophers of the mind rejected the incorporeity of the soul because it did not account for the relationship between the soul and the body. Moreover, physicalists, despite their denial of the soul and their attempts to explain the material relationship between mental states and the body, could not even provide a plausible explanation of this relationship and therefore this problem remained unresolved. However, according to the basic principles of his philosophy (the principality of existence and the gradation of being), Mulla Sadra was able to offer a plausible explanation of the relationship between soul and body according to which the soul and body are two aspects of a single existence and the body has been able to reach the stage of incorporeity through the substantial movement.

Sheikh Shihabuddin Suhrawardi, known as Sheikh Ishraq, and Mir Muhammad Baqir Astarabadi, known as Mirdamad, are two great philosophers who believed in the principality of nature in their philosophical system and organized the other issues of their philosophical system based on it. At first glance, it seems that these two philosophers principally agree on the principality of nature and the sub-principles on which it is based, but by examining the works of these two philosophers some differences appear, differences which have had a special impact on their philosophical system and have led to completely different results. By collecting data through the library method, this article addresses the differences between Sheikh Ishraq and Mirdamad on the principality of nature. Therefore, using the descriptive-analytical method, the views of these two philosophers on the principality of nature are reviewed. The research findings show that although both philosophers believe in the principality of nature, they differ in their interpretation and the sub-principles that are based on it.

In anthropomorphism or personification of God, which is somehow a new topic in Western theology, God is perceived in human form. This study mainly addresses the truth of God's personification and its characteristics and components. It can be argued that the most important issue in proving the personification of God is to know the concept, characteristics and components of personification. This article explains the truth of God's personification and considers the concept of personification as a composite concept since we do not have a distinct concept called personification among the other attributes. Hence, there are some elements and criteria for personification, including life, knowledge, reason, authority, mindfulness, reciprocity, comprehension and speech, responsibility and moral judgment, and distinction from others. Accordingly, descriptive personification is perfect and analogically graded. The personification of God can be proved if God has the criteria of personification even in the analogically graded form.

The present research seeks to explain and examine the reasons for the unity of the divine essence in two stages: one in the sense of oneness and the other in the sense of unity in Islamic philosophy. The methodology of the problem of oneness and simplicity of God is such that since simplicity is opposite to compositeness, philosophers have studied the types of composites in possibilities and have then offered several reasons for denying all these composites in the divine essence of God the Exalted and thus proved the simplicity and oneness of God. Since God is the absolute being and the simple and absolute being is not confined to any limit, God is infinite and unrepeatable and is one while being simple. The results of this research show that Muslim philosophers believe in the unity of the necessary being at the top of the system of being for which there is no reason or cause and no nature and rational form; the unity of the necessary being is not characterized by the rules of nature, and is at the same time simple and one with no parallel or partner.

In narrative sources, there are some hadiths that somehow express the direct or indirect effects of human habitat and geographical location on the formation of his perceptions. Moreover, some narrations have directly mentioned the effect of foods on human function and perceptual ability. Based on Ibn Sina's rational explanation of the effect of nature on the soul, the reason for the effect of these factors on the perceptual ability and human soul is the elemental similarity of the human body and the elements of nature. According to Ibn Sina, the key role of the brain in human perceptions as well as the elemental similarity of all these things with each other are other causes of the effect of nature on the soul. The effect of the brain on perception and the effect of elements on the brain causes changes in perceptual ability in such a way that the difference in elements causes the difference in brain function and the difference in brain function causes strength and weakness or diversity and difference in perception and knowledge.

The relationship between truth and creation is one of the most important issues discussed in transcendent theosophy and Islamic mysticism. What has been emphasized in transcendent theosophy and Islamic mysticism is that only the divine essence of God the exalted is the absolute truth and all the potential multiplicities are the manifestations of that absolute truth. The relationship between God and creation has precise explanations and analysis, and one of the ways to analyze this relationship is through the conditional mood, and this is what this article seeks to shed light on. Using the descriptive-analytical method and based on the theory of the conditional mood, this research follows a monotheistic approach to the universe and examines the relationship between God and creation in terms of the conditional mood.
