Microgravity and cosmic radiation are the space environmental stresses which can cause DNA damage in living organisms. Radiations injuries the cell DNA directly through the interaction of charged particles with DNA molecules or indirectly by the production of free radicals. In addition, radiation can alter cell wall composition, activate free radical scavenging enzymes, and accumulate antioxidant compounds. Although plants have evolved some mechanisms to deal with the damages, space conditions, especially microgravity can play a role in repairing DNA damage. More DNA damages can induce double strand breaks of DNA, chromosome abnormality, micro-nuclei formation, and increase the risk of cell death. In this study, the effect of space environmental stresses on DNA damage and response mechanisms will be investigated in space flight or simulated conditions.

The growth and use of smartphones have become a pervasive issue in many countries. On the other hand, one of the new and applied technologies that have been able to attract many enthusiasts is the civilian vertical drones or multi-rotors. The diverse and sometimes unique capabilities of flying robots (unmanned aerial vehicles) compared to manned aircraft, along with the much lower operating costs of these devices, have increased the exploitation and development of new applications of flying robots in recent years. One way to develop and implement flying robots for the general public is to reduce the cost of flying robots, making them accessible and easy to use without special training for these devices; The proposed solution for this issue is the development of mobile-based flying robots. ‌‌

The design of a controller for a thrust vector control system of UAV has been studied through the robust  H∞ control method. In the first, the governing space-state equations of the system have been derived using the bond graph approach. Then, the critical performance parameters of the system were evaluated and identified according to the operational feasibility and the range of successful performance of the system. Next, the weight functions of the robust H∞,including the indeterminate weight function under the influence of specified uncertainties, were determined. Finally, the consistency of robust control in the presence of uncertainties was evaluated and the results of deflection of thrust vectoring nozzle were compared with the performance results of an optimized PID controller. The simulation results are determined using the MATLAB environment. The results of this study showed that the bond-graph method has good validity for modeling of this system and the designed robust controller can also meet its mission requirements

In this research, the method of simulating the rarefied gas flow on a flat plate and calculating aerodynamic properties have been investigated using direct simulation Monte Carlo or DSMC-Open Foam Software. One of the most efficient methods for simulating rarefied gas flow in nonequilibrium conditions is the direct simulation Monte Carlo or DSMC simulation method, in which the gas is considered as a particle. In this study, using DSMC-OpenFoam software, the results obtained from a flat plate at zero angle of attack are validated with the available results, with the accuracy of less than 15% error.  In the following as an innovation, the flow on the vertical plane and the calculation of aerodynamic forces as well as the effect of different angles of the flat plane on the satellite panel are investigated. It has been shown that the drag coefficient in the vertical plane mode is 10 times that of the horizon flat plane. The method and software introduced in this research is a powerful method for various simulations of drag on satellites under rarefied gas condition. ‌‌

One of the technologies that has recently been used experimentally is the group flight of bird-style passenger aircraft. Airlines are constantly innovating to improve the efficiency of their aircraft. Faster transfer of passengers and cargo to destinations and less fuel consumption are the main concerns of these companies. Flying in a group and with arrangement (as birds do instinctively) has advantages such as reducing drag force and energy consumption. The effects of aerodynamic interference due to formation flight and its related problem have aroused great interest in research in this field. One of the concerns related to formation flight is passenger comfort along with safety due to the long distance. Things like sensor design and structural fatigue are also important in these flights. In this article, the aim is to investigate the comfort of passengers in formation flight and uncertainty conditions.
