The Transoxiana region, despite its territorial-cultural and political integration with Iran, had different destiny after the Middle Ages. The most important distinguishing feature was that, in contrast with the unity of political power in Iran, Trasoxiana was always faced with a plurality of power. Although it had experienced integration many times, however, at the beginning of 10th century A.H., it no longer experienced the repetition of such process and this time should be considered the end of territorial integration for this region. Over the course of four centuries, political and territorial division gradually expanded and finally it was established in its most extensive form during the Soviet era. The main issue of this paper is that, what were the reasons for continuation of the disintegration of political power in the new era of the history of this land? The initial response is that "the predominance of tribalism among the Uzbeks, the fear of the reactions of the great powers to the unified occupation of the region in the Tsarist era, the fear of the formation of a unified national identity and being freed from colonial rule in this period and the Soviet era led to political pluralism and even anti-centralism

"Allameh Seyyed Morteza Askari" is one of the prominent contemporary hadith scholars, especially in terms of criticism of historical hadith and prophetic biography. His writings shows that he pays attention to all kinds of bases in the criticism of them. In the current research, these foundations are explained under four titles, i.e. "theological", "historical", "Islamic Sciences" and "literary". Among his theological foundations are "the authority of the Qur'an and the Sunnah with the priority of the first", "the interest of all divine prophets in determining their successors", "conformity with the Sunnah of the Infallible (PBUH) is a condition for the validity of the hadiths of the companions" and "the influence of sectarian deviations". Some of his historical foundations are: "the validity of historical facts"; "belief in some predetermined plans which makes history"; "the authenticity of prophetic hadith writings from the Prophet's era" and "the influence of cultural, economic and social Data on citation". Among the scientific foundations, "the validity of interpretative sciences", "the validity of biographical evaluation", "the validity of hadith terminology" and "the need to pay attention to the rules of the hadith criticism" are important to him. Among the linguistic foundations, "the effect of paying attention to lexical and idiomatic meanings", "the effect of internal evidence and the general context of the language of the text", "the role of external evidences" and "the effectiveness of rhetorical topics" have been the bases of his hadith criticism. Each of these foundations has its own special role in refinement of hadiths, and Allameh has employed appropriate methods of criticism of hadiths based on them.

In order to visit the Kaaba, Muslims reach Arabia from different routes, which is surrounded by the sea on three sides. In the first to third centuries A.H., most of the pilgrims made this journey by land. From the end of the 3rd century A.H., some factors such as the weakness of the Abbasid Caliphs, the rivalry between the Fatimid and Abbasid caliphs, the attacks of Qaramata and bandits on the pilgrim caravans, caused the insecurity of land routes and some problems for the pilgrims. Almost simultaneously with such changes, the Jeddah port was experiencing increasing prosperity. The present research examines the possible relationship of these variables using historical analysis method. The results of the research show that the insecurity of the land routes and its coincidence with the boom in maritime trade led to the prosperity of the marine pilgrimage from Siraf and Sohar to Jeddah, which was influenced by the presence of Iranians and pilgrims' caravans, and then experienced several centuries of economic and commercial prosperity.

Like other Muslim governments of their time, the Aq Qoyunlus Turkmen were pursuing political objectives in the way of their interactions and relations with Sadat. Some Aq Qoyunlus rulers tried to adopt some policies such as getting close to prominent Sadat families and establishing kinship ties with them, recruiting and employing Sadat in administrative, judicial and religious positions, giving gifts and fiefs to Sadat, and supporting Sadat scholars and scientists in order to show their devotion and respect towards posterity of the Prophet (PBUH) and strengthen the foundations of their government with such measures. In this research, which was carried out using descriptive-analytical method, it has been tried to investigate the interaction and confrontation of Aq Qoyunlus with Sadat, Sadat's status during the period of Aq Qoyunlus’ rule, as well as to introduce some of their scientific, literary and political figures during the 9th century AH.

The contemporary international order is understandable from the perspective of the concepts, interpretations and experiences of the modern time. This order, which is also interpreted as a liberal order, reflects the interaction and relations established between its actors, at the center of which is the nation-state. In the 21st century, this order and this main actor were challenged by a new and emerging existence on the world stage, i.e., Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). ISIL has clearly challenged the international order and its central idea, the nation-state. This paper hypothesizes that Takfiri movements consider the hegemonic international order specifically as their main problem. The author tries to explain the attitude of Takfiri radicalism in confronting the international order. This is done by explaining the status of the idea of the nation-state in the contemporary international order, analyzing the perception and understanding of Takfiri movements from it and describing their action approach. The methodology of this paper is Derrida's deconstruction method.

Ismaili and anti-Ismaili sources differ dramatically in how they depict the Ismaili “inviters” (dāʿīs). To Ismaili authors, the inviters were noble, kind, and pious believers who propagated the true message of Islam, while to their detractors the inviters were sinister, unscrupulous villains. However, all agreed on one feature: the inviters generally worked discreetly and anonymously, far from the prying eyes of hostile authorities. Thus, the 11th/17th-century poem of the Ismaili Khālū Maḥmūd ʿAlī, edited and analyzed in this article, is a rarity. The poet enumerates Ismaili notables in locations scattered throughout Khurāsān, Quhistān, Badakhshān, ʿIrāq, Turkistān, and Hindūstān in a period in which we know almost nothing about the Ismailis. The article discusses the existing manuscripts of the poem and its prosody. It continues by providing a critical edition, discusses elements in the poem that reflect the literary genre of “prayers of proximity” (duʿā-yi taqarrub), and analyzes what we can deduce about the poet himself.
