    This Study was done in the Library of Shahreza Center of Payame Noor University in order to investigate the quality and given services of Library by using Library Quality (LIBQUAL) Index. Findings showed that the mentioned library users only accepted the quality of its physical environment and reliability. The other factors such as: L accessability and environment of Library, Proper reception of users, responsibility and guarantee and assurance are settled in turn in different critical degrees.

    The main purpose of this study was investigating the information needs of region five Payame Noor University Students and the use university libraries to provide them. The research presents some answers to information Sources, information gathering behavior, its accessibility and the usage quality of libraries, etc. In this levels Considered. In this survey, an almost 2600 students’ population of all levels Considered in The abovementioned region randomly. Of the selected ones to research, 1400 students returned the completed questionnaires. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire and its validity and reliability have been approved via proper statistical methods.

    In this study, free version of MEDLINE database in the web which is PubMed and three Commercial versions which are Ebsco, ISI and First Search were Chosen. These Versions were gathered in five different features including: general information, searching features, display options, retrieval options and unique features. Then by use of comparative survey they were compared. The results showed that Ebsco has the best user interface features, followed by, PubMed, ISI and FirstSearch. Of course when choosing a database one should have in mind the level of end users, their information needs and the budget ofthe library.

    Nowadays the growth and content of information production have become to a large extent Stereotyped but finding effective strategies and manageable tools in still continuous. Intelligent agent is one of these tools and in this research presented these agents and their role on library services. Thus, the work and usage of intelligent agents were discussed here and one of them and its role or use in the library was considered. Knowing these tools as new generations of retrieval tools and information management absolutely is important for librarians.

    Information network contingency of region five Payame Noor University is the main aim of the Paper. The research is a survey and used its statistical population from ten libraries of region five PNU. Findings show that all are managed by one person except two ones. Sixty percent of librarians in charge are library science and information network experts and forty percent of them have B.A. education. Only two libraries (Twenty percent) have been standard and practically organized. All libraries face inappropriate place and eighty percent of them has no accessibility to information technology and network findings show generally that establishing an independent information networks in the libraries is impossible at this time.

    In this article some thoughts on the role of librarians in "Digital literacy" context have been presented. The role of correlation between new technologies and schools is necessary to investigate the influence of Information and Communication Technologies on basic education. There is also an emphasis on the role of school libraries, specifically focus in basic education of developing countries. The role of libraries and librarians confronting unprofessional users from one hand, and teachers of conservative traditional schools from the other hand are detailed here; furthermore libraries and librarians can role as pioneers. Libraries should have main role on curriculum planning in addition to students’persuasion using libraries.

    Supporting distance learners requires a shift in the traditional "Library" mindset. Librarians who serve distance learners must com up with new and innovative ways to meet the needs in their unique users. Librarians must attempt to define and identify who their distance users are and what their needs are, and in turn, develop and implement a set of Library resources and services in support of these needs. Promotion of the resources and services available is necessary in order to successfully provide library support; students and faculty must know what services are available and how to access them.
