    The main objective of this survey research was to analysis strategies of entrepreneurship development in agricultural scientific – applied higher education institutes in North West of Iran. The statistical population of the study consisted of N= 2850 students out of which 200 students were randomly selected using Cochran Formula and proportionate stratified sampling technique; each institute was considered as a stratum. Data were collected using a questionnaire developed for the study. Data were analyzed by applying SPSSwin16 and LISREL. Validity of the questionnaire was approved by a panel of experts. In order to measure the reliability of questionnaire, Cronbach Alpha coefficient was calculated (α= 0.92). Prioritizing strategies of entrepreneurship development showed that the most important strategies were; providemore applied education to prepare studentsto enterjob market and; supportentrepreneurialinitiativesandideasof studentsandteachers.Also, for identification of the components of these strategies in agriculturalscientific – applied higher education institutes, discovery factor analysis has been used. In addition, in order to investigate the index surpasses model, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equations modeling were applied. Results showed that strategies of entrepreneurship development in agricultural scientific – appliedhigher education institutes were to be formed in five distinctive factors including: educational, supportive, policy, information – communicational and infrastructural factors.

    This research was done to assess and identify personal characteristics affecting on employment status of Agricultural Scientific-applied Higher Education System of Tehran and Alborz provinces. This study was an applied research and was done as a cause-correlation method. The independent variables were personal characteristics of graduates which were mentioned in groups of individual, educational, occupational, psychological and sociological characteristics. The tool for data collection in this study was questionnaire that its reliability was estimated through Cronbach alpha as of α=89%. Graduates from Agricultural Scientific applied Education Centers of Tehran and Alborz provinces from 2007 to 2009 (N=1712) was considered as the research population and 230 of them were selected as sample through stratified sampling. Data analysis was done using descriptive and inferential statistics through SPSS software. Based on the results, more than half of graduates were employed while 64.2% of free quota graduates were unemployed. Also regression analysis shows that occupational experience is the most affecting variable in graduates’ employment. Therefore, increasing occupational experience in graduates has significant affect on employment status.

    A survey research method with questionnaire tool was employed in this study to compare environmental attitude of agricultural students of Yasouj University. There were three educational departments in B.S. level during this study (2010). Sampling procedure was stratified random sampling. Respondents were selected from two strata of freshman and senior agricultural students. Accordingly, 107 freshman and 87 senior students received questionnaires containing New Environmental Paradigm (NEP) standard scale, and closed questions. Findings showed that in spite of concerning agricultural students about environmental issues, they had low contact to environmental information resources. Furthermore, there was no significant difference between freshman and senior students in their level of environmental attitude. The result of the multiple regression revealed that 19 percent of variability in environmental attitude was expressed by sex, course passed, educational level, and social welfare.

    The purpose of this research was to analyze job responsibilities commitments amongst administrators’ of agricultural secondary education centers, from the viewpoint of agricultural educators. The statistical population of this study included agricultural educator of agricultural secondary education centers of Tehran province (N=91) which 46 members were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling method. Questionnaire was applied to collect the data. The findings showed that the most important job responsibilities of administrators were friendly communication with educator, controlling and guiding educational activities according to educational plan, and carrying out regular educators’ institute. Factor analysis classified job responsibilities of administrators in five groups. These groups were students’ affairs, financial and administrative affairs, educators’ affairs, educational affairs, and school affairs which covered 75.678 percent of variance.

    Interests and motivations of students to select the course of study have roots in their background and family and socio-economic factors. The main goal of this research is determining of factors influencing the enrollment of natural resources higher education employed students in the system of applied scientific higher education.. By the survey method this research was done. The main tool for gathering data was questionnaire. The statistical population of the study consisted of 356natural resources students in higher education centers of Jahad e agriculture. Samples using Cochrans's formula and the initial test was 150. Stratified random sampling method was carried out within the centers. In all of the higher education centerswherehave natural resources courses (Tabriz, Ardabil, Mashhad, Zahedan, Zanjan, Semnan, Shiraz, Karaj and Yazd) 150 questionnaires were sent for the students and 127 of them answered to the questionnaires. The data were analyzed by SPSSwin19. After analyzing the three factors of A:Job benefits(economic) with three variables containing 1. Change and improve employment condition 2. Higher salaries and 3.Improve pension salary B: the characteristics of applied scientific education with 2 variables containing 1.student acceptance without entrance exam 2.lack of time to continue in other courses because of employment, and finally C: obtaining science and skills together with two variables 1.having good experiences from work and 2.integration of science and experiences were determined as effective factors on enrollment of students. There were significant relationships between effective factors and student feathers such as genus and monthly income and school course of them.

    Most educational trainings in agriculture sector and greenhouse productions are not taylored to the needs of stake holders. Therefore, the effectiveness of these trainings is questionnable. The purpose of this descriptive study was to assess the training needs of Kermanshah vegetable growers using needs assessment model by Borich and Quadrant analysis. Population consisted of all vegetable growers (N = 54) and horticulture specialist (N = 27). Data was gathered via the questionnaire. Results revealed that greenhouse managers ranked their training needs as follows: How to use CO2, controlling plant disease, providing ozygen, plant date, controlling moisture. recognizing disease, using non- chemical measure to control pest and diseases, controlling wastes, how to use different kinds of foods. Moreover, quadrant analysis showed that needs of vegetable growers fit the needs derived fom Borich needs assessment. The result of this study may have implications for greenhouse owners and educational training program developers. Using the perception of greenhouse owners regarding needs assessment and matching that with quadrant anlaysis is crucial if educational programs are to be more effective.

    Human resources are considered as the most important asset in organizational development. Study and understanding of organizational factors influencing job performance of employees are critical management plans in macro-scale because recruiting, educating, training and retaining employees are planned and implemented by human resources management as a result of considering the organizational factors. The main purpose of this study was to investigate relationship between extension experts’ job performance and organizational commitment in Kerman province, Iran. Statistical population of the study included agricultural extension experts working in the agricultural sector in Kerman province. A sample of 123 experts from target population was determined by using Morgan’s Table. Sampling method was proportional stratified random sampling method. This study was survey research type and questionnaire was provided to collect data. Questionnaire validation was verified by a group of experts. A pilot study with 30 questionnaires was conducted to determine the reliability of research instrument, and Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability (CR) were suitable to do the study. To analyze data, SPSSwin20 and LISREL8.5 were used. Results of structural equation modeling (SEM) showed that organizational commitment with 0.63 path coefficient and t=5.17 had positive significant influence on extension experts’ job performance. Also, organizational commitment explained 39% of extension experts’ job performance variance.

    The main purpose of this study was to identify and analyze barriers of entrepreneurship development in agricultural higher education system from viewpoints of agricultural graduate students at University of Zanjan. Research method of the study was analytical- explanatory. The statistical population consisted of 337 agricultural graduate students at University of Zanjan (N=337). According to Krejcie and Morgan table, a sample of 180 students was selected using stratified random sampling (n=180). Questionnaire was used to collect the data. A panel of experts established validity and a pilot study was conducted to establish reliability of the instrument. Cronbach's alpha coefficient for the scale of importance of entrepreneurship development barriers in agricultural higher education system was calculated α=0.83. Results revealed that three variables including: large volume of theoretical courses and lack of sufficient attention to practical training in agricultural majors, lack of sufficient attention to agricultural entrepreneurship in the compilation of agricultural syllabus and course contents and no institutionalization of entrepreneurship at the college of agriculture and not being taken seriously it by managers have achieved the highest priority, respectively. The results of factor analysis showed that four factors namely educational, infrastructural- supporting, managerial and personal- psychological explained 62.49 percent of total variances of entrepreneurship development barriers in agricultural higher education system.
