Apply two methods (molecular based model and corresponding state correlations) to calculate surface tension values of some alcohols in various temperatures. Comparing the calculation results with experimental data shows that the molecular model is completely superior to the other one and also Sastari’s correlation although having simple calculation procedure and demanding little information but shows acceptable performance in the prediction of polar fluids surface tension values.
