Multi-path is favorite alternative for sensor networks, as it provides an easy mechanism to distribute traffic, as well as considerate fault tolerance. In this paper, a new clustering based multi path routing protocol namely ECRR (Energy efficient Cluster based Routing algorithm for improving Reliability) is proposed, which is a new routing algorithm and guarantees the achievement to required QoS of wireless sensor networks and can reduces the energy consumption. Proposed protocol has better performance in comparison the existing ones.

Nowadays, the use of intelligent control systems to reduce human error is one of the most popular research fields. Design and implementation of such controllers requires to actual knowledge of the environment conditions. Traffic lights as one of the inputs of intelligent control systems are significant. usually the traffic lights have the various physical structure. also, generally in image processing images is provided by a digital camera therefore having similar characteristics of images is a necessity. The light of environment conditions as backlight can lead to different results in the image processing. It seems, design and practical implementation of this system with acceptable performance will be hard achievable without a proper model for different lighting conditions. In this study we propose a consistent and comprehensive model for traffic lights in various lighting conditions, such as day and night conditions.

The ability to discover services in Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a major prerequisite. Cluster based cross layer intelligent service discovery for MANET (CBISD) is cluster based architecture, caching of semantic details of services and intelligent forwarding using network layer mechanisms. The cluster based architecture using semantic knowledge provides scalability and accuracy. Also, the minimum cluster forwarding (MCF) algorithm will find the remote services. It reduces network traffic and increases bandwidth utilization. The ability to discover services in Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a major prerequisite. Nowadays, because of the growing numbers of vehicles on streets and roads, the use of intelligent control systems to improve driving safety and health has become a necessity. To design and implement such control systems, having information about traffic light colors is essential. There are the wide variety of traffic lights in terms of light intensity and color. Therefore it seems that design and practical implementation of these systems with acceptable performance is difficult. The study has been discussed extracting, Categories and the offer of a specific model for color and intensity of traffic signals based on an improved algorithm. The proposed intelligent system will detect traffic lights through images by installing camera instead of using electronic sensors. After capturing, the image sequence will then be analyzed using computer based programs for extracting of lights specifications.

In this paper proposes a fuzzy multi-objective hybrid Genetic and Bee colony optimization algorithm (GA-BCO) to find the optimal restoration of loads of power distribution network under fault. Restoration of distribution systems is a complex combinatorial optimization problem that should be efficiently restored in reasonable time. To improve the efficiency of restoration and facilitate the activity of operators an efficient GA-BCO algorithm is developed. To investigate the efficiency of proposed algorithm, the algorithm is applied to a real case of distribution system from Taiwan Power Company (TPC) and compared with those of existing approaches in the literature. Experimental results show the capability of proposed algorithm in finding the optimal distribution system restoration in reasonable time.

Flapping-wing robotic insects are small, highly maneuverable flying robots inspired by biological insects and useful for a wide range of tasks, including exploration, environmental monitoring, search and rescue, and surveillance. Recently, robotic insects driven by piezoelectric actuators have achieved the important goal of taking off with external power; however, fully autonomous operation requires an ultralight power supply capable of generating high-voltage drive signals from low-voltage energy sources. This paper describes high-voltage switching circuit topologies and control methods suitable for driving piezoelectric actuators in flapping-wing robotic insects and discusses the physical implementation of these topologies, including the fabrication of custom magnetic components by laser micromachining and other weight minimization echniques. The performance of laser micromachined magnetics and custom-wound commercial magnetics is compared through the experimental realization of a tapped inductor boost converter capable of stepping up a 3.7V Li-poly cell input to 200V. The potential of laser micromachined magnetics is further shown by implementing a similar converter weighing 20mg (not including control functionality) and capable of up to 70mW output at 200V and up to 100mW at 100V.

Today, one of the new technologies in the modern era is Vehicular Ad-hoc Network which has taken enormous attention in the recent years. Because of rapid topology changing and frequent disconnection makes it difficult to design an efficient routing protocol for routing data between vehicles, called V2V or vehicle to vehicle communication and vehicle to roadside infrastructure, called V2I. Designing an efficient routing protocol has taken significant attention because existing routing protocols for VANET are not efficient to meet every traffic scenario. For this reason it is very necessary to identify the pros and cons of routing protocols as well as simulation of protocols is essential to understand existing routing protocols behavior. In this research paper, we focus on VANET topology based routing protocols and also measure the performance of two on-demand routing protocols AODV & DSR in the random waypoint scenario.
