    Introduction
    Individual health has been proved to be under the influence of various factors such as the use of health care services, diet, smoking and alcohol, physical environment, and health-related behaviors. Therefore, the main determinants of health are factors such as income, education, and access to health services, and systematic changes in these factors lead to socio-economic injustice in health. The present study was carried out through library and internet search. Medline and Google Scholar databases were also utilized.Combining Contents and
    Results
    According to the present study, an increase in health input expenses would inevitably lead to aggravation of the health situation and decrease in income would result in the worst health status of the poor. Moreover, people with higher education use less health inputs; however, they enjoy higher status than those with lower educational levels.
    Conclusion
    Health demand approach provides only a part of the information needed for policy-makers and decision-makers in health system. Theoretical and empirical analyses of the health claim could indicate that policy actions are likely to be more effective in overcoming barriers to health but are not capable of determining which one is likely to be more cost-effective. The demand for information about the health only provides the necessary tools about the benefits of special policy making decisions. So the tool should be combined with other techniques including cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analyses.

    Introduction
    The aim of this study was to determine the performance of data mining techniques for predicting the causes of traumaticbrain injuries in Khatamolanbya hospital, Zahdan city.
    Method
    In this cross–sectional, the study population included all patients who died of brain injury. Data were collected by the use of aresearcher- made check list, provided under the direct observation of authorities in this area and analyzed by the data mining softwareof Clementine 12.0.
    Results
    According to the results of this algorithm, C5.0 decision tree algorithm has an accuracy of 81.4 percent, the highest precision;then, the algorithm is C & R(The Classification and Regression) with 77.8 percent.
    Conclusion
    Overall, it can be concluded from the decision tree algorithm that age is one of the leading causes of traumatic braininjuries. The results showed that all the cases involving traumatic lesions of the brain lead to the patient’s death.. Although in somealgorithms, some of the variables are important, they cannot be used alone as the main variable to be taken into account for the deathof the patient.

    Introduction
    Over the last decade, the role of clinical librarians in assisting general practitioners to provide better health care has been proved. Rapid progress in telecommunication technology has emerged this question. Could clinical librarians be able to assist general practitioners working in rural and remote areas through Information and communication technologies? This project sought to evaluate whether clinical librarians are able to provide accurate and updated information to physicians.
    Method
    Twenty general practitioners working in non rural working in remote areas of Kerman were requested to ask clinical librarians 5 questions through a phone line each over the period of two months whenever they felt they need to have more information on a matter related to their practice. Then all questions and answers were evaluated by expert medical specialists and pharmacists who were academic staff of Kerman University of Medical Sciences. Clinical librarians’ role was also evaluated by an electronic questionnaire sent to general practitioners.
    Results
    Over 80 percents of the answers were evaluated as perfect and 10 percent as good. Only 10 percent of the answers were scored as wrong.
    Conclusion
    Clinical librarians are able to provide reliable information to remote and rural physicians, The fact which has been also verified by the specialists. However, clinical librarians need to improve their English language and their knowledge about online search strategies and basic medication. Telecommunication infrastructure and suitable internet speed for online search by librarians are very important.

    Introduction
    The review of medical records with the aim of assessing the quality of codes has long been conducted in different countries. Auditing medical coding, as an instructive approach, could help to review the quality of codes objectively using defined attributes, and this in turn would lead to improvement of the quality of codes.
    Method
    The current study aimed to present a model for auditing the quality of clinical codes. The audit model was formed after reviewing other audit models, considering their strengths and weaknesses. A clear definition was presented for each quality attribute and more detailed criteria were then set for assessing the quality of codes.
    Results
    The audit tool (based on the quality attributes included legibility, relevancy, completeness, accuracy, definition and timeliness); led to development of an audit model for assessing the quality of medical coding. Delphi technique was then used to reassure the validity of the model.
    Conclusion
    The inclusive audit model designed could provide a reliable and valid basis for assessing the quality of codes considering more quality attributes and their clear definition. The inter-observer check suggested in the method of auditing is of particular importance to reassure the reliability of coding.

    Introduction
    Aim of current study is determination of optimal number of nurses in the emergency department of Shiraz Ali Asghar Hospital.
    Method
    Current study is an applied study and belongs to operational research (OR) studies. The population has been studied in this research، includes records of referred patients to the emergency department of hospital in 2008. Sampling was performed in the forms of stratified (monthly) and simple for all of the records and each of months respectively. Required data collection was performed from statistics notebook and also patient’s records using data collection forms. After average determination of entering patients in a day at eight period in three hours، determining the type of provided services and also the period of offering nursing services (with using time information) determine optimum number of required nurses in different periods of hospital with using of linear programming technique by lingo 8 software.
    Results
    The minimum number of nurses needed in emergency department of Ali Asghar hospital regarding to desired services to the patients were obtained 1 and 3 nurses for each shift and a day respectively.
    Conclusion
    According to the results the used number of nurses in the emergency department was more than optimum number. It seems that، obtained number of nurses from quantitative methods such as linear programming technique is much less than the calculated number experimentally by the directors of nursing.
