Studying the Citizenship Education Skills Needed by Students In the Curriculum Development of Guidance School

Abstract:
This study identified citizenship skills needed by guidance student In the Curriculum Development from the perspective of educational experts and teachers in Qazvin. The kind of research is applied, and the research method is survey. The statistical population in this research are experts of the organization of education and faculty members of the department of education of Qazvin University and finally guidance school male and female teachers. The total number of the first two populations is 30 persons and the last population number is 2727 persons. The number of experts and faculty members Sample is the same as the population and using ratio stratified random sampling method 276 person was selected as teachers, sample. The data gathering instrument is a researcher-made questionnaire including 80 questions. The validity and reliability of instrument using content validity and Alpha Cronbach was provided by researcher. The statistical method in this research is descriptive and inferential (T. test & Friedman test). Using SPSS software data are analyzed. The most research finding is: Data Analysis indicates a dire need for the inclusion of Citizenship Skills in the current curriculum of the guidance schools as well as the vulnerability of this curriculum because of the lack of such skills. these needs are better felt in individual, cultural and political arenas. The main proposition of this research is that, when developing the curriculum of the guidance schools in near future, the civic education components unaccounted for so far or neglected be taken into serious consideration. These components can be the above-mentioned three skills, especially the realization of the components in psychomotor affective and cognitive domains.
