Comparative Analysis ofstructural factors affecting the Organizational Behavior of University staff with an Entrepreneurial Organization Shiraz Medical Sciences University: a Case Study

Entrepreneurship in public (governmental) organizations has been one of the most important research subjects in past years to release the organizations from bureaucracy. In order to have entrepreneurial organizations, developing the entrepreneurial organizational behavior is the main point. One group of the main formers of this behavior is structural factors. In this research, the current situation of the structural factors of the staff sector of Shiraz Medical Sciences University is being compared with the ideal entrepreneurial approach of them.The 7 structural variables that affect the behavior of public organizations are: information and relations system, organizational structure, strategic planning and management, research and development system, control and supervision system, human resource management and financial management. The research method is survey method and the tool of the research is a researcher made questionnaire that is consisted of some questions about the 7 variables. By calculating the Cranach’s α of the questionnaire that is 0.905 we became sure of the high reliability of the research tool. The used statistical test is “Single- Sample T”. The mean grade of these 7 factors in this organization has been 1.86 in the range of 1 to 5 that is a very low grade. The findings of the research state the validation of statistical differences between each of the structural factors with the desirable entrepreneurial situation of them in meaningful level of 0.05. Then all of the 7 studies factors are the structural impediments of Shiraz Medical Sciences University.
