The Relationship between Satisfaction, Loyalty and Commitment among Undergraduate Students of Islamic Azad University, Iaueghlid Branch

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between satisfaction, loyalty and commitment among undergraduate students in Islamic Azad University, Iaueghlid Branch. This applied research used survey method for collection of data and correlation type for data analysis. The population of the study consisted of all 196 undergraduate students of Islamic Azad University, Iaueghlid Branch, 89 males and 107 females, randomly selected. The data collection tools included Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) and a researcher-made questionnaire for the measurement of loyalty and commitment of the students. The reliability of the questionnaires was 0/96 and 0/86, based on the Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient. The data collected was analyzed by Pearson correlation and T-test for independent groups. Results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between student satisfaction and student commitment; student satisfaction and student loyalty; and student commitment and student loyalty. Furthermore, there were no statistically significant differences between satisfaction, commitment and loyalty of male and female students.
