Transformation in America's Public Diplomacy in 21th Century

The present conditions in the international system have led the new components to play an effective role in the international mechanism. Due to the transformation of international system, diplomacy in this arena has also been transformed. In the last recent years in the arena of international policy, new civilian actors have been of considerable importance. In this paper, there will be a comparison between public diplomacy and traditional diplomacy and the necessity to benefit from public diplomacy. Finally we will examine basic principles and the new U.S. strategy in the field of public diplomacy particularly the strategy that with regard to the special fund will be operational since 2012.
