Investigation on The Observed Needs for Starting Participatory Irrigation Management Activities of Abshar Irrigation System, Zayandeh Rud River

Abdication water management to consumers is a global movement which the responsibilities of governments have reduced in operation and maintenance of networks and reduced local associations of water consumers to manage operation and maintenance are available on the network, instead.This study had done within the right bank of Abshar Irrigation System in Esfahan city and its aim is answering some questions such as: Do the farmers are satisfied to participate network management and are there any requisite to operate in the situation? If so, its need to know that in case of Abshar irrigation network the transfer of irrigation management is better or irrigation management participatory), and which step should be started?AlphaTo answer these questions, the tendency of farmer participation has been to evaluated. Information that needed to do research and the questionnaire was collected by descriptive survey research.Our results indicate that the potential for cooperation in agricultural affairs networks are moderate.In ranking questions, the highest level of willingness to cooperate in the tales of (questions) questionnaire is sense of responsibility on farmers to pay for the maintenance of the canal and intake valves and tend of farmers to take enough water and being convinced to their right of water.These cases refers to creation of need to participate of farmers Furthermore common points causing is the willingness of farmers, As well as a good start, it is planned to achieve higher goals in the future approach.
