The impact of administrative automatization on the productivity: A case study

With the advent of modern administrative management paradigm, government organizations and offices have taken steps toward simplifying the process of performing duties and tasks. One of the most important strategies has been administrative automatization gaining much attention in the area of information technology of organizations in recent decades. Its aim has been to reduce the expenses resulted from human resource, saving time, making optimal use of available facilities, in addition, speed, accuracy, and performing tasks properly, in organization. This article aims to investigate the impact of administrative automatization on the productivity of employees. The research population consists of employees at Zanjan Municipality. The method employed in the study is descriptive-survey. Data has been collected using a-researcher-developed questionnaire whose reliability has been examined via Cronbachα and confirmed at %87. The questionnaire has been validated through content validity. Data has been analyzed using SPSS software. The findings suggest that the administrative automatization has been effective on the productivity of the staff. Finally, some suggestions have been made for improving administrative automatization.
