The Promised Savior in Pre-Islamic Great Religions
Abstract:
Faith in Savior is one of the most fundamental beliefs in the most of the religions. Owing to the fact that faith in savior is not confined to one religion and is found in all divine religions. This subject is evident depending on researches about different religions and their resources، such as profits'' speeches in holy books. All of the profits have annunciated about “the last savior”. These annunciations verify that he will rise for global rectification in the entire world. He is the one that whose name is Messiah in Torah، Son of Man in the Bible، Soshians in Avesta، Vishnu in Hinduism and the Fifth Buddha in Buddhism. In fact faith in the last savior has different orders which some of them are mentioned. In one of them He appears as a social reformer، in the other case He performs as mankind’s redemption، and in third order، He is responsible for both. Further the last savior could be deliverer of certain crew or whole people of the world. In this issue some of these documentations in pre-Islamic religions have been reviewed in brief and then different orders of faith in savior in those religions is considered
